Soilless media and microbes anyone?

Can u use microbes in a 70/30 mix coco/perlite. I’ve heard it’s not good to do in hydro system with reservoir, but what if I’m treating my medium as soil just watering more often

I use mycos in coco a lot, it really makes the plants happy.

Youll need a mineral source like basalt and sulfur. There's no reason to add compost to potting mix. You just need the microbes. People add compost to feel special. It's still coco/peat but slower now.

Bump rip torn ....Read into microbe life and its food stock, if your not using rock dust of some kind you should, even just using lime to stabilize the PH will provide food stock. Check out rockdustlocal.com, they have a good blend of basalt and humic that would be good for them and its really affordable.
