I guess it would depend what your growing in.
If you grow in buckets or have pots that are plastic, you could drill holes and put bulkheads or something in to drain like I do. You could do the same with plastic plant saucers, would just need to elevate them a little.
I just empty that little tub by hand, could be pumped out if there's a lot. If you had somewhere to drain to, you could hook up a pump to a float switch that will automatically kick on when the water gets so full and drain wherever you want.
