Barney's Mimosa x Orange Punch, photoperiod, feminized.

Sprouted on 7/13
12/12 lighting schedule 9/6

5x5' ac infinity tent
Mammoth 880w mint white light
Env ~82f 50rh

Coco/perlite roughly 70/30
Started in 16oz nursey bags for 2 weeks then moved to 2 gallon fabric pots

GH flora trio, armor si, calmg, diamond nectar. Koolbloom will be coming soon. 3x events at 1200EC 5.9PH lights on, 1x event middle of lights off.

All 3 were quadlined to start but ultimately moved into scrog nets roughly 25"x25" additional trellis net added once stretch started.

My led driver failed a few weeks ago, purchased 3 viparspectra 150w lights while waiting on the replacement. Worked out pretty well, will use one or two once i have mothers worth keeping.

Looking great, we have the same Mammoth light!

Will be following along...
You dont happen to have a light meter by chance? Im still not quite dialed in. Currently im about 20" from top at 70% but think im stressing them a lil. My last grow (first one with this light) i light stressed the em hard

Now it's funny you say that 'cos I've had exactly that this grow and was definitely stressing them out. My fault initially as I had it way too close but even now at 26" (I had put it up to 30" but growth etc) I'm seeing a little light stress on the tips of a few of my current grow. DLI calc seems ok though.

I do have a light meter and it's registering around 600PAR, give or take, at the highest canopy level. I have the actual light set to 1600PAR which is 61%. I think the light is much more powerful than I've realised which is what you're seeing as well it seems. Softly, softly I think is the only way as it doesn't seem to match the normal levels you'd expect to be ok the in the usual stages of growth. I may even turn it down further.

Hopefully we can work out best practice together!

If in the future if its convenient, would you be willing to meter at 24" 75%?

Here you go, instead of typing it out I did it like this as easier to visualise, hopefully! Took a measurement in each corner and the centre at 24" and 75%, give or take. Using this meter:

See what I mean about it being much lower than what you'd normally be aiming for or expect? I need to talk with Mammoth and do some more digging I think as this is one strong light it seems. Must be those mint white leds making all the difference...lol! 😉

Agreed, not what I would have expected. Thank you for testing this!
