Second try with special Kush. I know 110 days isn't that long but I didn't veg this for too long because of my tent limitation. was still in flower for nine weeks though. SCROGGED two plants with substantially different outcomes in the same tent. One of them is this monster the other biggest bud was less than half this size. Pretty happy with this grow.

110 days or 15.7 weeks I’d say that’s a long time especially with most hybrids taking 70-80 days or 10 weeks

Well done keeping her green for that long a lot struggle to keep it green for 70 days nvm 110
She does look a bit packed with n. I’d switch to water only for the last two weeks

Looks good πŸ‘ πŸ™‚

How can you tell because of the nutrients? Because it's still so green?

The dark green comes from nitrogen

As said mind it looks very nice. It’s very frosty. πŸ™‚
Thank you. I'll keep that in mind. I left this one alone even more than some of my other grows. Next time I'll leave it alone even more!

Less nitrogen in late flower would give you more flower
Scientific and Grower-Based References

1. Caplan et al. (2017) – "Optimal rates of nutrient supply for greenhouse cannabis."

Found excessive nitrogen reduced flower yield and quality in late bloom.

DOI: 10.21273/HORTTECH03612-17

2. Cervantes, Jorge – "Cannabis Encyclopedia"

Recommends tapering nitrogen in late flower to prevent leafy buds and promote resin production.

3. Ed Rosenthal – "Marijuana Grower’s Handbook"

Advises reducing nitrogen in late flowering to improve bud quality and avoid delaying maturity.

4. Grower Forums (e.g., Royal Queen Seeds, GrowWeedEasy, 420magazine)

Consistent anecdotal and experiential evidence of better results with reduced nitrogen in late bloom.

---

Best Practices

Reduce nitrogen starting around week 6-7 of flowering (for 8–10 week strains).

Switch to a "bloom booster" formula high in phosphorus and potassium (PK).

Avoid overfeeding β€” nitrogen toxicity can delay flowering and reduce resin.
