I'm not sure how your lights compare to my Se3000 but with my test going on with my led light grown and flowered Bubble Bomb & 2 other BB all same age & sized clones I vegged under t5's and flowering under my 1000W hps.. I think the led is winning. For being the exact same age, flipped on the same day & fed the same food (except I added epsom salts to the led twice ) The buds seem harder and closer to finishing ( 8 weeks sat ) .

I think I cooked the leaves with the dimmer set @ 100% & 53,000 lux 18 - 19" away for a week or more before I noticed I'd fked up. I should have stayed with the lux numbers I get off my Eye hortilux @ 33 - 35,000 lux. I've dimmed it down now to 60% @ 25,000 lux 18" away. The last time I grew these it took 9.5 to finish. I'm going to turn the timer back to 18hrs for the last 7-10 days just to see and compare with the 2 under hps.

I'll try and get good pics of both @ 8 weeks on Saturday and post them.to compare

Oh balls! Literally balls. I hate it when my ladies grow balls. Not terribly unexpected from an untested freebie but still a bummer. Guess I’m going to be doing some plucking.😢

Ya don’t pluck those, they aren’t pollen sacs or nanners. They are indeed calyx. Looking great though, what day flower?

35. Hoping it'll be done in 63. Guessing more like 70 for my likes.

Nice I’m a week ahead of you. We’ll be harvesting around the same time. Happy grows.

Thanks to both of you. I'll sleep a little easier tonight. I had a rough second grow where everything hermied to shit and I've been Uber paranoid since. Fingers crossed and best of luck on yours!

After plucking a few more suspect balls I was relieved not to find any pollen. I’m hoping I just overreacted. Battling low pH drift this week. A soil slurry showed pH at 6.0 and 6.1. A flush with Gaia at 7.0 and I’m back at 6.4-5. Gave them their last full feed of the grow today and am going to start backing the nutrients down. Pretty sure that one at least was locked out and a little potassium deficient. That was my diagnosis (pic below). Feel free to chime in if you think it may be something else. Other than that everything seems to be running smoothly.

Yeah man don't sweat that PH drift IMO its not that big of a deal. I have an automated drip line that runs off of my freshwater Cichlid aquariums my water is constantly in the 7s yet my plants still adapt and do very well. I grow super crystal laden and dense nugs. I know for sure they could be better if I were doing a PH down all the time but the convenience of just letting the auto water system do the work won me over. Im not shooting for a cannabis cup its all head-smoke anyways Im not gonna trip over a tiny margin like that LOL 😂 . Your plant will do just fine at 7.0 PH its looking really healthy.

Everything looking OK this week. At day 44 I’m guessing another three weeks for this one plant. Trichs are all looking decently cloudy. The other one maybe a week or two longer. Still battling falling pH. I keep hearing that I can ignore it in soil but I find this not to be the case. Outside of 6.2-.8 my ppms start to build like crazy. I’ve tried dropping the pH with phosphoric acid first so I can cram more calcium carbonate into my feeds with mixed results. A buddy suggested bringing pH up to 8 or so and then dropping it with seltzer so I may try this and see if it works any better. I hope everyone had a great holiday of whatever kind you celebrate!

Going into day 51 of flower. Woke to find my pH pen has finally crapped the bed. Luckily I grabbed a new one from my local place but the ladies are going to get a little thirsty while the electrode hydrates. Oh well. They’ll survive. Starting to see some fading in one while the other looks determined to stay green until it gets the chop. Should be in two weeks or so although the fading one might go an additional week. Hope everyone had a great New Years!

Happy new year @Neuro
Could you plz share some pictures of the Spider Farmer SE5000? many thanks
As requested here are a few. I’m not sure these are what you’re looking for. The label is hanging on the other side and I had to connect the light with 4 ratchets to get it high enough for these plants. If I can get back in that one corner I’ll try and lower the light to get you a better picture of light and crop together.

Coming to the end here. A few more days on the first. Going to test out the “you don’t need to flush” theory on this one. I’ve obviously stepped down my nutrients a whole bunch but she’s still been getting some sugars and bonemeal along with some humics. The second one is just not done yet. Soon though. I have to say, trimming is not my favorite activity but I’m looking forward to pulling these down and getting my next ones up and running.

One down. The other should come down later this week. Thanks to everyone that dropped by to take a look. I hope I didn’t bore y’all too much. Pretty pleased with this grow overall. I liked the light and I’m pretty much sold on the Nectar line. It is definitely pricey but I’m pleased enough with the results to continue using it. I haven’t gotten these kind of terps from any chemical line in the past.
