spray BT or harvest early?

Hey guys,
Pretty standard outdoor grow in MA. 6 weeks into flower and I'm finding budworms. Tried manualy removing all I could find (6) and popped any eggs. Removed wasted buds. Was really hoping not to have to spray but is it worth spraying B.T this late? Should I harvest early to avoid further damage? Either way I feel like I'm taking a risk.

I haven't seen anything on BT, or any other up-to-harvest treatments that are rated as safe to be smoked. If anyone can provide information that contradicts that, I'd love to know it and would probably use it. My first defense to infestations is always to try to use some mechanical means of pest control (high pressure water, squashing aphids by hand, scouring a plant for caterpillars). Maybe this would work for you if you feel the same way that I do about adding things to your plants.
