In the past, I was under the impression the THC is somewhat fragile and loses it's potency much faster than the pre-decarbed THC. The idea being that dried buds will hold their potency a lot longer than a similar bud that has first been decarbed to turn the THC into it's more desirable form. I guess this would potentially affect edibles more than smokable/vapable forms. Any scientists out there?

I asked this question about 6 months ago or so and never got any response then, either. My question goes back to the 70s, with the ISOmerizer ISO machine. I seem to remember there was a big controversy regarding stuff that you ran thru the machine...t turned lousy stuff into not quite as lousy stuff, but it supposedly lost it's potency quickly. I figured this was a fancy and profitable setup for a decarb process, but I've not been able to find any type of research regarding potency VS oxidation or other types of degradation.
Pretty simple, eh? Those were the days!
