Hi. I was just curious if anybody knows if you can use a 63 watt led (has 4 brightness settings if it should be less and any suggestions on distance would be appreciated) to start a seedling and keep it under it until a couple of nodes (or if anybody has a good suggestion of time to move over) and than place it under a 300 watt CMH? I am thinking that putting it directly under the 300 watt CMH is causing my seedlings to be stunted as this is my second grow and it is day 8 above soil and I barely see a second set of leaves forming. The genetic I am using is Six Shooter by Fast Buds.

Thanks.

63 actual watts? Or advertised?

You can easily use it, maybe have to move it away a bit. If you have an android, I suggest downloading a lux meter app. They do very well on androids, not on apple cause well apple sucks. Obviously.

You want 3000 to 5000 lumens for seedlings. Just move your light back till you have the right range. 👍
