Stressed and confused. The girls and I. Are they ready?

I am a first time outdoor grower and I need some help and advice. I’ve had a few bad days, thought I’d lost the girls to bud rot (false alarm) and have been freaking. They did not seem the healthiest all summer and my promised guidance didn’t work out. I’m not sure if I should harvest them or if I should let them go a bit. I didn’t expect it so early. We have had a really cloudy, rainy summer and I didn’t know to cover them etc. it’s been so stressful but it’s the girls I’ve been worried about. Haha. This is what I’ve got.

Reading other posts led me to decide I should take them but to put them in the dark for a full 24-48 hours. I have. I moved them to the basement but only a few hours ago. If it’s not major stress on them I could put them back out.

The forecast weather also played a part in my decision to pull.

Did I screw up and will it shock them to take them back outside? I moved them to the basement for continual darkness before harvest about 5.5 hours ago. I’m just so nervous after the scare. Thought I had reveg after that but don’t. Haha. I need help. Thanks for the reply. It’s really appreciated. I went about this wrong but I was supposed to have skilled guidance. He just had an unforeseeable issue.

For better or worse they are back outside. It’s all on me now.

Herer is mine, I put up plastic so no worry about frost.
One week left for me one one the other still has 10 days left on top of the first one
