Hi, guys. I need some help!
This is my second yield. Today is day 5 and they haven’t changed at all for the last 3 days. Maybe only stretching, which i don’t know why It’s caused when my light is on 50% intensity, it’s 60,70 cm away from the plants, They are not watered too much, the temp is 22-25 degrees, the himidity, I can’t say as my meter is not accurate, the soil is Biobizz All mix. I haven’t added extra perlite, the ladies are 4 different strains autos, the light cycle is 18/6, the lamp is Marshydro ts600 150w.

They're seedlings, they're putting their energy into growing roots, leaf growth will follow.
So when should i be worried? And why do they keep stretching when the light is even stronger than it should be?

Hey! No worries early on (especially around day 5), it’s totally normal not to see much change yet. Stretching could be from the light being a bit far or too dim

50% at 60–70 cm might be on the low side. You could try lowering the light a bit or bumping up the intensity gradually. Biobizz All Mix is quite ā€œhotā€ for seedlings, so they might just be adjusting. Keep an eye on them, and if they’re perking up each day, you’re probably fine. Just be patient—autos can be slow to start but often take off fast once they’re settled! 🌱

I get confused, honestly 😁. Some says that when they are seedling they dont need much light, i might have stessed them out because of the 50% light. In the lamp instructions says to start from 25% and 50 is for the vegetative period, but if they are stretching, they definitely strive for more light is what i think as well. Thanks for the advices, i think i see a little progress, i just don’t know what to do with their loobly stems..

Hello there do you have a small fan blowing on them it helps strengthen them? If they start leaning over put a small bamboo skewer into your soil and take some soft string and Tye them to it loosely. Hope this helps āœŒļø

Seedlings can be a bit of a challenge to get started but be patient with them and don’t worry about the long stems because you can always bury them up to your colydens when you transplant them

Also.. should i repot them in a lighter mix or this is stress them ever more and they will die?

When you up pot after it gets a few nodes, if you still have a stretchy stem, you can plant it a little deeper to take some of the height away. That's what I do at least.

Hey just a suggestion. Under grow diaries you will find growers like myself in soil and guys in hydro and guys outdoors. You can tag a diary and read it. The organized ones give pictures and the dates will help you see the growth daily to compare your seedling growth and color.
