After conquoring all types of mites and crittets, I started a bunch of plants from seed, but due to difficulties in geting decent seeds, they got mixed up and are unknown lineages. One in particular is unlike any plant that I've grown, and is so bushy that it has proved difficult to train. The spaces between nodes and new branches/leaves is tiny, and I can't think of anything that is nearly as dense except a boxwood shrub. The stems are very woody and shrub-like as well and the overall color is a bright green... much brighter than the others. It also eats like a pig and is difficult to keep fed apart from the others, which would be burned by the same feeding rate. The plant is very healthy and grows rapidly... it is just so dense that I can't see getting anything but smaller buds from it. I've been plucking offending leaves but there are easily 8-10x the regular amount of leaves compared to others.
As things progress, I'll try to get some decent pics of it.
