Getting ready for my third grow, wanting to improve my nute game and considering super soils.
Can anyone share their experiences going this route? I love the idea of just using PH'd water instead of adding liquid nutes each time I water, but I'd be willing to put up with it if liquid nutes produce significantly better results.
I'm coming from a setup where seeds sprouted in FFOF (neutral soil), were transplanted into Roots Organic Lush (a little hot/nitrogen heavy), then amended with a dry Mr. B's Green Trees Bloom (2-10-10, low nitrogen, heavy phosphate, potash, calcium) topcoat during flower. Pros: it's pretty mindless. Cons: could probably get bigger yields.
I like the idea of less nitrogen during late bloom to promote denser buds, but again, the set-and-forget appeal of living soil/super soil is pretty strong.
Any thoughts?
