What do you guys think of my organic supplement choices:

1) Sunleaves - Indonesian Bat Guano (phos guano)
2) Maxicrop - Seaweed Soluble Powder
3) Worm Casting (any recommendation on brand?)
4) Brer Rabbit - Molasses

Or should i just save the extra money and go with Fox farms Trio? I prefer their "Tri-Pack" over their "Trio", But yeah, im trying to keep costs down now... Sucks.

What is your growing medium?

I assume soil since you mention castings . . .

If I were ever to grow in soil again, I'd get a brand of organics made for real gardening like - say - Espoma - from a nursury instead of a hydroshop - and mix with Happy Frog or Ocean Forest.

I like cottonseed meal, bone meal, and seal-kelp for flowering myself - at a ratio of 0.5:1:3 respectively.

And then feed with something with beneficial microbes - like GH's KangaRoots or Plant Success' Great White and maybe the molasses to feed them a bit.

Using OFHF & FFOF w/ large and small Coconut husks, and perlite mixed up in layers. Im going to check into that Great White Shark stuff alotta peops are talking about. Ohh and that KangaRoots... Thx!

I sorta wana do LIQUID organic nutes; that way i dont have to turn it into a tea (not that id have to, but id prefer). BUTT, i also need to keep costs down... Say, all my nutes (for late vegging/and all flowering) for under 30-ish bucks??

Anyhow, any recs greatly appreciated. Peace.

Um. Liquid organics are way out of your price range my friend - as well as the sea kelp I recommended above, and so is any decent microbe package.

With a $60 budget you'd be in much better shape to get through a whole grow.

EDIT: Just went to the Epsoma link posted above, and they were individual additives (which I like). However, what I'm talking about below is their pre-mixed fert/nutes bags. They have them for Flower, Tomato, Citrus, Holly, etc. Read the bags to see what each mix contains.

One of my local nurseries carries Epsoma natural ferts. $8-10 per five pound bags. I picked up their Flower, Citrus, and General 5-5-5. I got the citrus because I liked some of the added micro and trace elements they had, so I mixed a little into the soil. I went to Home Depot the same day for peat moss, and saw they were selling Epsoma as well, for about the same price. So there's a good chance you could hit one up and get some pre-mixed organic ferts on the cheapish. I don't think any of the bags listed Kelp in their ingredients, though, so I'm going to pick some of that up from the nursery. I haven't found worm castings yet. I read somewhere they sell them at Wal Mart now, but this time of year their garden section is stripped bare most places. Many mix recipes say mushroom compost can be substituted, but I'd consider that a last resort (I like shroom compost though, so that's in my soil mix no matter what). There's another thread about best beneficials, and Kid Twist posted a link to some mych product that looks pretty sweet and is only around $16 from amazon. Seems like a good cheaper alternative to Great White.

My soil is cooking now, so I don't actually know how well the Epsoma pre-mixes will work. This is my first organic grow coming up, so I'm certainly no expert, just throwing out some of the products I've stumbled on to.

Espoma dry fertilizers KICK ASS!! I have used flower-tone and tomato-tone, the TT works better I think in terms of the finished product's texture and density. Flowertone made heavier buds that were not quite as sticky, either way you cannot go wrong. $20 for 20 pounds of that shit is a good deal.

Sweet. I'm so happy to hear that. I may have to go pick up the Tomato now. They're so inexpensive (at least for my small grow)...why not?

Yea Espoma makes some great stuff - the "Tone" line however are chemical ferts.

Eitherway - they're great.

Was this an indoor or outdoor run you're speaking of fractal?
