Hello guys,

I really wanted to try mainlining, but the problem is that I already topped my plants. I had 6 nodes and I topped the 7th that was coming out. Will it be a lot of stress for the plants if I top it to the 3rd node now?

It will set the plant back, as far as growth goes, and might be enough stress for it to do something drastic.

show us a pic of your plant - maybe you can clean up the nodes below and still mainline from the 6th if it's not too tall.... mainlining can be effective but it definitely requires significantly longer veg time..

Just posting some phots progress for what appears to be my best mainlining to date.

Do I need to keep trimming new growth below the top nodes on each of the 8 branches or do I just wait? Just flipped to flower 3 days ago.
