Taking mainlining/manifold one step further

So I've been trying to stunt babies and then top while vegging under and HPS to create a 4way knuckle mainline from this is as close as I have gotten so far do you think it can be done without grafting? Has anybody else given this a try?

Exposed it to cold, suffocated it with too much water, I do a bunch of stuff when I have extra plants going and I chose which ones I want to keep I get bored easily so I do things like this

Are you trying for a perfect 4 way split knuckle? Looks like you nearly have it. Maybe grow a normal root stock plant then graft 4 branches onto it to make the split. After they take, chop the top of main root stock and bam a 4 way split.....? Would be one heck of an experiment. Take it a step further and make it real interesting, use 4 different cultivars.
