End of Week 2:
1613942853752

1613942872438

They are going through about 1.5 gallons of water per day now. The way new growth leaves are cupped has me worried they may be stressed; however the environment is solid and I don't see any mutation/twisting, so I'm suppressing the urge to mess with things.

Flower closeup for fun:

I turned the env controller down from 80F to 75F, humidity remains 45-50F.
Leaf temps are <70F when measured with an IR sensor.

Peace!

Week 5 update, putting on weight.
1615944334096

I got sidetracked with a science project this week:
1615944491312

I only have a few hours of data collected, but it has been a fun experience. setting up a poor-man's monitoring system. This dashboard is powered by a little Linux server that is collecting pictures from my old Nexus6P camera pointing at my fan controller and EC/PH meters. Applying a little geek magic, and I have a cool dashboard that I can impress random internet strangers with.

Drinking at least 1 gallon/day, feeding to EC 1.7 when it drops below 1.5, which has been about twice a week recently.

5 more weeks..... Ugh. 😎

P.S. - Not letting the pH go above 6.1 before pulling it back down to about 5.6-7ish.

Frosty, but a ways to go yet.

They are happy at about 1.7EC right now. Drinking around 1 gallon of water per day, maybe more.

Tried bumping the EC about 1.7, but things started getting out of whack. Sticking with 1.7 is fine by me.

They look great to me. My only hope is to see them fatten up before harvest time. Happy Days!!

Starting to see some color change now:

I'm not sure how to estimate their remaining time until harvest. For now I'm goin to just keep letting them mature. I expect to see more color changes this week, and am wondering if it will be time to flush in another week or so... Stay tuned!

Beautiful, my only ooinion is raise the light a vouple inches or turn it down ~10%. Some of those top leaves are cupped pretty good
Yeah, the light is as far up as it can go. Some of the sugar leaves started curling up awfully early, I wasn't sure what to make of it. TBH I didn't think of turning the light intensity down; I just figured I'd live with a little crispiness.

Trichomes are getting cloudy, but no amber yet. The buds feel very dense. I'm excited.

Water uptake has slowed a bit, and I am adding water only at this point. Depending on how they look next weekend I may start flushing them. Trying not to let my anticipation drive my decisions. Haha.

Things got crispy this week. I didn't get a good "before" picture, but I pruned about 30 fan leaves that fully dried up. I flushed the res today and giving them a few days in plain Alaska tap water (0.24EC) treated to 5.75pH. Chop by next weekend.

I thought a final shot without the grow light would be cool. As hard as I try, my pictures never feel like they do the plants justice.

Very happy with the aroma and bud density. They are hanging in the dark with a single small fan and the humidity control set to 65%.

To be continued in another thread.... I took clones from these plants before switching to flower. They have been kept alive under small LEDs while these bloomed. Once the tent is clean, I'll clean it and move them in. Trying dirt this time because I don't want to have to run the A/C all summer keeping the grow room cool enough for hydro. Soil is MG organic mixed with about 10% Perlite.

Quick dried this little dude who fell off during harvest. Can anyone tell me the THC percentage from this photo? Hahaha. Going to hit my Solo II in just a bit.
