do you rent or own? I think that would be my main concern. If you own your pad (or possibly have a really chill landlord that never comes by) then go of the long haul and 2x4 a room up, put an a/c and some co2 in there with your scrubbers and you will be set for many harvests. On the other hand if you are renting tents are really the way to go. Every year my landlord rolls by and comes in to fix a couple things here and there and there would be no way I could tear down a room in 72 hrs or less, not to mention hide a bunch of plants. Also the dark rooms look like storage closets from the outside if you hide your ducts. Last time the landlord rolled by, i just moved my plants and hung up a bunch of shirts in my tent and left it a little unzipped so he could see that it was just used to hang clothes. worked like a charm.

One more thing is that in the tents you can easily move your intake and exhaust ducts, which if nice if you are still dialing in your room and may want to move the fans at some time.

an actual framed room would be overall the most pimp, just make a layout before hand, i always wanted one with a window so you can keep the room charged and view from the outside, then in the dark period just close a curtian over it.

Good luck homie

i would go with the hole room 4000w is perfest for that room if its in 600w ballasts if its in 1000s your going 2 lose a lil coverage, just cover the carpet with cardboard than a gig water proff tarp than black and white poly the hole room everything the ground, the walls and celing, put a ac in the window and run your scrubbers into you ac vent just move the ac duct, i allways use rentals i just change the locks and pay my rent on time and if something breaks i dont tell the landlord i fix it, you should be able 2 pull a nice yield out that room

Is it an apartment of a house? If house I would go more with the room. Apartments are always dicey, especially on larger grows. Hopefully you own, but if you don't, just do it smart. I agree with _BIG_YIELDS_, don't ever call the landlord over for ANYTHING. If he or she already stops by on a semi regular basis, I would look elsewhere. I would always fix anything in the house while I rented & grew. The best was when I had a bedroom completely full of crop, and the roof started to leak real bad in the kitchen, due to the landlords crap repairs. I had to deal with trash cans full of water, till it dried out. Then I fixed the cheap bastards repair, and had the drywall patched after. No one was the wiser. Hell, i even got 100% of my deposit back. Go figure. :icon_spin:

I have to say that I'd be nervous if you don't own the place where you are growing. You don't want to call any attention to yourself that you don't want.

It's something that people forget when they're growing as they're so excited to see results that they forget about basic safety.

A tent might be a good idea if you want to make sure you're not ruining your place. And it's pretty nice for the environment for the plants.

If things begin to seem like you need to do a lot of construction for the grow room in an apartment, I'd just stay away from that. Get a closet and start with that small space, then move to something bigger, like a tent, then something larger if you're doing well.
