Getting serious with my seeds, this room is now officially the seed testing/hunting room. Time to move on from growing clones for production as the middle men have taken all the profit.
Beautiful!! So essentially you plant a group of seeds of one specific phenotype and then cross pollinate that with another strain is that what is happening here? Or are you just hunting out the very best of each strain and then taking it from there?? This shit is insane! Very very interesting and very cool

So my Cinderella man and Madmartigan lines go back to 2017 from my first breeding project. I grew out some females of joeys weed c99 and loved the terpenes coming off then but as far as looks and bag appeal no one is would have wanted them.
From there I I popped the rest of my c99 seeds and found one male and pollinated a few of my favorite elites.
One of the elites I used Indiana bubblegum and when I got into those seeds I found a big time bubblegum leaning male which is exactly what I wanted. C99 is very dominant in crosses so to find the bg male I knew it was right.
I used that male to pollinate lemon tree which made Cinderella man and purple punch to make madmartigan.
With the Cinderella man seeds there was a lot of crap in there 8 shitty phenos and 1 short stacked very terpy female and a male that grew exactly like it.
When I tested the male with papaya cake I confirmed I was finding phenos like my Cinderella man female.
Same thing happened with my madmartigan but I only had 5 seeds and three were crappy but I had 1 female (my keeper) and one male once again growing exactly like the female I had. And after growing out the okie x Madmartigan I found grape phenos, clean grape, pineapple phenos, bubblegum phenos. You can tell they are sisters but each a little different.
From the start of the c99 each outcrossing has gotten better and better.
Some of itā€™s the luck of the draw, helps to have elite female recipients too. But itā€™s also a lot of work and can get expensive. I feel my eye after 22 years of growing I can spit out what Iā€™m looking for so experience helps too. The more you do it like most things the better you get at it.
My triangle grape cake male was another I saw and said have to save it and have already had positive feedback from those crosses so in doing more.

aren't "testers" usually free - why pay for something that is NOT tested -knon many breeders that gave-a-way testers and In the long run many of the testers ended up purchasing packs of
Honestly bud most seed makers donā€™t even grow out the seeds they make. Testing is a thing of the past. The market wonā€™t allow ppl the time it takes to do it properly and make money for there time.

Far more documentation here than youā€™ll see elsewhere.

Awesome story there Bro. Thanks for sharing! Can't wait to grow these strains, Lemon Tree and Madmartigan and so cool to hear the back story of how you got such beautiful and potent gems. Thanks for all you do for this wonderful plant Trustfall. Outstanding bro!

Cinderella man day 57, hoping to take these down in about a week. Don't mind the mites if you spot them haha, the tent and future plants will be treated before the next flower round.

Decent mite resistance on these, the Runtz beside them held out until last week but fully succumbed today and was removed. These plants have just a few hotspots but should make it to the harvest in decent shape.

I also skipped a feeding a few weeks back and you can see the results of that hahaha.

I have cuts ready to go once these are cut and will give them some good treatment now that I know what they like.

Awesome man those buds look heavy at! Nice fading on them too! Spider mites are some of the most hard working pest
Out there. Really incredible how fast they can take over a garden.

Png x kashmir day 72 finally the calx are swelling.šŸ¤  Iā€™m going to give her another 20 days and I think that will be the end.
I love the red stems šŸ˜
I love to see sativas around, not many grow them, tricky bastards but the effects are like nothing else. I grew some African sativa this year and it was the clearest energetic high I've ever had so far!
