Sounds good! That’s the way to work it! 😀 Interesting to see how they turn out, yield wise! You may be growing ten Or more at a time next summer! Sure no reason you couldn’t! Oops! I forgot about the law!

I cant remember where i read or heard it, may have been here. Something about wrapping fiberglass insulation around the stalk will keep them off

Thanks for the tip, I'm going to give the beer cans and the copper a try first as I'm not comfortable around fiberglass installation, I have respiratory issues from past chemical exposures in the workplace

Here's Mr Stretchy and his two friends enjoying a brisk 40° New England morning!

Even the snails were half froze to the ground this morning, makes it easier for me to catch 'em 🤣😂🤣

Wire has kept this baby clean since her first bites

Before I transplanted these pepper seedlings

I had wire around the bottom of their cups and now around their stems.

Copper is the only thing I've found to work on the types of slugs and snails I've got here. I've gotta make some more right now😉

I'm going to go out one of these afternoons with a fat joint and can of beer with wire strippers and get some made to give it a try, not having too much of a problem this year so far tho, something got one of my tomatoes pretty good but I pulled that leaf off

Getting ready to feed the garden including the Cannabis in the morning

was reading my old thread about the master blend ratio and I see that we both started using it at about the same time back in 2019 LOL ...and we're still using it!!!

Master blend was my first experience with hydro nutes and once I saw how it preformed with coco coir I was sold. That first grow was a mind blower after 50 years of soil growing. Once they were on full tomato strength I just road that to the end. Then I starred to experiment with different strength and Kratky
20240602 101659
20240602 101717

Basil in 1/4 strength MB and Epsom, no calcium. My strawberries get the same.

If I hadn't bought that pack of Miracle-Gro all my soil plants would be getting MB quarter to half strength once a week.

I've bever seen anything like it.

Fed the Cannabis (and everything in the near garden) for the first time with Master Blend at 600 PPM

Fed everything in the far garden with the same Master Blend strength except for the squash mounds, they've got plenty of organic composted cow manure in them

Something's munching on my cannabis, looks like leaf hopper damage only much smaller ...maybe it's a small leaf hopper 🤣🦗

I sprayed them with neem, they're just barely starting to flower so it won't be a thing

Hate those bastards. Lost 2 Sin City Juice to slugs. Not happy with bugs right now and seeing moths fluttering about. All my plants and garden will get neem tonight🤬

Turns out I've got two spotted mites 😡

I posted in a different thread and got a bunch of different ways to deal with them outdoors

I had them indoors in the mid-90s & I'm 0-2 against these little bastards

But outdoors is a different game, looking forward to wiping them out! 🔥🕷️

Didn't use magnification but under the leaves today was completely clean after the iso spray, great tip from GNick!

These plants aren't doing much but in all fairness they got a slow start in a Maine window in April (not much sun), then under a clamp light at night.

Two of them are super stretchy, the middle one has somewhat the structure of Cheese plants I've grown before

Every Monday the three cheese cannabis plants get 600 mg of balanced Master Blend

I'm going to use that straight through, the veggies are going to get some 20-20-20 with added Cal mag, I haven't fed them yet.

Update: 6/17/24

So this is disappointing, Mr stretchy is now the shortest one, another one won't stop stretching and the one in the middle is the only one that looks anything like any cheese I've ever grown before.
