The History of OG Kush

I sit here thinking about all of the time I have wasted sifting through forums to gain insight as to what OG Kush is, where it came from, etc... All for nothing. The atomic bomb was dropped yesterday on the Adam Dunn show as to the origins of OG Kush...

For anyone who cares about OG, even remotely, please give your undivided attention to Mr. Dave Richards..

Ive been around these boards for 14 years plus posting. Heard a ton of stories in that time. Grew up in south florida and imo if this story is pure bullshit. then its the best thought out bullshit ive heard to date. a lot of the time frames work out to my own experiences and things ive known to be true from trusted sources that dont do online. from Homestead to Gainesville im been lucky to be a part of the scene. dont know shit about cali. but i enjoyed the show and look forward to more info from dave richards. cause im guessing this wont be the last we hear of him after the show.

This other guy with his version of him preserving the og by his single handed mission spreading seed around??? Who knows I guess.

ok he lost me with his original gangster and that he still has the original genetics to make og but promised his wife he would never grow again.

maybe true but comes off more far fetched to me then some chem genetics making it to FL in 91 and the bubba crew probably getting a seed in some that became the kush.

The bunker with 6000+ plants he talked about getting raided in 1990, which mentions Frank Gegax (the head of the operation) by name at the end: http://articles.latimes.com/1990-11-17/local/me-3949_1_massive-marijuana-farm

"Deputies also are looking for an Antelope Valley father and son in connection with the case. The son, identified as Richard F. Yerger, 28, was listed as the owner of the Lancaster-area site. Officials said his father, Richard E. Yerger, 60, may also be involved." ...aka "Uncle Dick" perhaps?

The only part of the story I find hard to believe, is the fact he won't grow now and that he still has the original building blocks...

Sensi seeds has a fruity juice and a hashplant seedline.. I know hey lost the original genetics but if anyone was curious to see if the whole afghan/Thai x hashplant thing is a remote possibility.. Or perhaps someone has them preserved seeds from the 90s?

Only way we will ever know is if he remakes ogk, or someone has his genetics from the 90s...

thats the funny thing about people. they hear what they wanna hear or put their own spin on it. human nature like the old telephone game. I listened to it twice and didnt hear what your hearing. case in point he promised his wife he wouldnt break any more laws after his last bust. he said he had plants right now. just wouldnt do anymore breeding etc till laws changed in cali.

who really knows. you could get every major player in the game together and compare every story and even if they all agreed this is what happened. someone outside that group would call bullshit. take it for what its worth i guess.
