So that's like a breeding tent?
Sort of...It's a f'd up tent, I didn't expect the 6 land races to overgrow my clones (& tent) that much.
I straight up overfilled the tent AND over vegged for my growing style. I have never grown in a small space b4.
Much of this was/is an experiment to try to mash old & new school techniques. It has worked way better than what I expected, to a fault.
I'm really not sure what to do at this point other than maybe doing a bunch of culling and thinning and busting branches over.
I am hoping that the stretch will finish soon, they have quadrupled or more already since the flip, they are still growing 2-3 inches per day
All that being said, I am going to be pollinating individual branches
NLxNL, NLf x HPm, NLm x HPf, NL x clone, HP x clone (if I have enough pollen, I need to save some for a future Skunk #1 grow)
I am not a breeder, I just don't want to ever have to buy a seed again
I'm hoping @Captspaulding might see this post and offer up some ideas 🤜😇 💨👍

Do you have specific interests in mind? Surfing, hiking, Sports, diving, there’s a lot to do here if you’re willing to travel a bit 👍💨✌️
good morning (i know you are some eight hours behind me), yeah, i like to climb rocks. I don't want the big cities, if you gave me two k $ to spend a day in las vegas id refuse. Explore the land, nature, no fenta zombies. I do live in a million+ city already, no need for crowded places. And a legal state, no need for a DUI, lmao

The plan is to rent a car and just drive in august/september, no need for fancy hotels etc.

and am i going from east to west or vice versa... questions, questions
I’ve drove cross country before. West to East . Cali to VA . Checkout the main highways. Wanna say I used US 40 👍

You really won’t see all that much interesting unless you veer off the highway tho .

I did this with my grandfather, uncle (2 years younger than me) and brother when I was a kid but east to west. Spent 2 months in CA during summer vacation staying with various family members my grandfather knew along the way and we have a lot of family in the Sacramento area.

Some places we hit that stood out were Carlsbad caverns, Grand Canyon, Sedona, Eureka, the sierra Nevadas camping (can't remember exactly where...I want to say along the Yuba river), Yosemite, Mt. Shasta. He took a lot of back roads and hit a lot of rest stops. Some of those are cool. We also hit Juarez Mexico on the way there that tourists don't go to now because of the cartels but it was kind of neat for souvenirs back then. He wanted a stuffed armadillo which were all over the place in shops.

We actually totally agree on this, ill start with that lol. Dont disagree with anything youve said here at all. Theres a reason im using PFFD as benchmark metric here not the power of a given light fixture. Doing it that way makes no sense with the variance between brands and even within brands. The best way to compare results between light fixtures is by balancing Luminous flux and Par both. They are both important when it comes to burning the tissues.

My point with it, is just that if your LED's are burning your plants in that territory, its because of another problem like you and me both said.

You dont fix that problem by backing off the light and waiting though, even if that makes the symptoms go away, you havent solved the source of the problem, just a tipping factor, and in doing so you hamper the end product. This is something im seeing happen over and oveer with questions asked here, and its another thing ive stopped trying to nuance when the question is asked because i get messaged in DM by (very obviously) novice growers with light stretched plants recommending people grow under like 350pffd of light. They dont realize their plants are burning above that range because other variables are out of whack.

There's a nuance to what im saying here that gets lost on a lot of newer growers. I already know it isn't on you.

If i get light burn at lower outputs i do indeed back the light off, but then i fix the problem and turn the light back up as soon as i can, because not doing that hampers your end result. Anything below roughly 1000pffd at center canopy in flower nets me a smaller, less consistent outcome plant to plant then otherwise.
Always dig the back and forth with ya.
but it really does depend on the initial problem. Sonetimes it flat out applies with a really sensative strain.
And yeah, you know it was a long way around to agreeing, but you know it’s it’s a really interesting topic these days because you know it does save some people’s hides man and then they’re able to slow themselves down and take stock of things. Learn a little bit more and you know apply what they learn and hopefully not run into the same stupid issues again Because it’s usually a couple of things if there’s ever anybody that’s new that’s jumping on here and asking a question about something I mean shit sometimes it’s six different things so it’s crapshoot sometimes I tell almost everybody all the time that I incrementally creep up everything throughout the entire grow. The only thing I really back off on is nitrogen for all the obvious reasons, but my plants still always get a baseline of that even all the way until harvest, but everything is tapered the whole time hopefully by the time I get to the end of my grow everythingnis on blast. But having to move in so many different cultivars behind one another it can be tricky getting a light to 100% in a flower tent when you’ve got new plants moving in and you’ve got older ones that are in there that are about to be chopped, shit the new ones would just totally get toasted under those setting so I’ve gotta throttle things back and find a Goldilocks zone so it can get tricky sometimes and for newer growers that attempt that kind of shit you know the whole perpetual game yo it’ll fuck motherfuckers up real quick.

How the hell u live there😂 part Eskimo You blokes gets below freezing here to snows up in the highlands but not where I live shovelling snow sounds like it sux balls😂👍
Yeah it’ll make ya remember ya shoveled when ya wake up and try to stand up 🤣

Last year we had a decent blizzard, down to -25f windchills were -45 and 90mph straight line winds… and yes… still had to work, 3 hour drive of hell each way for 3 days, place was shut down, I had to get in not fun… you know it’s bad when every time the wind would gust it would push me 3-4’ straight sideways when I was driving, compete whiteout, ended up with near 4’, south of us got 7 🤣

Oh and during each wind gust it was so strong it would turn my truck heater off then back on about 3 seconds later, was wild shit, fun as fuck while terrifying at the same time haha, they even warned of no police rescue if you got stuck, complete travel ban (I’m “essental” fuckin yay 🤣)on the news
