Did some research on some of my leaf tips looking like this. Only newer leaves.

I've had people say it's too much potassium and the start of nute burn, and other say potassium deficiency. I've been giving them a little over half the recommended nutrient strength.

So too much potassium or not enough? The plants seem fine otherwise. Nothing brown and crispy at this point.

Got the kids a reward for doing good in their homeschool classes gettin A’s 😁

And some hotdogs in the wood stove for lunch my favorite part of winter lol
I was completely against home school until my son did it this year which is his last in high school. He went from completely struggling to a GPA of 3.0 in a very short time. I’m a believer. Congrats! 🎉🎊

I was sort of thinking light stress too. The plant in question usually 'goes to sleep' and droops 2-3 hours before lights off. The unaffected plant stays looking pretty much the same all day.

Just flipped to 12/12 and I'll see if anything changes. Been giving them a full dose of calmag with every feed since I'm in old coco so hopefully it's not that.

The teacher vs student ratio in some public schools almost guarantees that some students will be left behind. Homeschooling solves that issue quickly unless you’re the octo mom. Congrats to any parents who have the time energy and patience to homeschool their kids. Sometimes all it takes is a different approach to get through to someone struggling to grasp a concept.

That’s a true statement there. We all learn differently.

Speaking of learning, big thanks to @PhlizonGrowLight for the new Dual Channel PH-D6! It’s actually been here but putting a package pickup slip in my mailbox was too much for the USPS Carrier.

I put it in the mix for the moment. Now it’s time to plot what to grow with it 😁

Help please,

What causes this clawing? It's mostly on the new tips of the Hash Plant,
but a couple of clones are starting it as well. The only things different on these
vs. the big nasty; are the lights (800w vs 720w), & the addition of Hydrogaurd
and Terpinator to the mix. Leaf-top temps averaging around 80f. Ph is checked
every couple hours and drifts between 5.8 & 6.2, (5.9 average) Reservoir temp
averages 74-78f. Light is on 24/7

*red circle is the plant it started with

What I've done so far:
Flushed with plain water for 2 hrs. Mix fresh batch of nutes.
Lowered light output from 70% down to 30%
Lowered the N and the overall nute mix from 1250 ppm to 1050ppm
Stop adding hydrogaurd and Terpinator. Dropped feeding from
continuous to 15 on, 15 off.

I am just monitoring now to see if it worsens or stabilizes

Any help or thoughts on this is greatly appreciated, THANK YOU!

I'd say it was a combination of your nutes and light intensity.
You have already taken care of those and switched them up a bit. I'm sure you'll see them stabilize. Whenever I've done dwc my grows would do best when I can keep my water around 65 to 68°

I’ve had that with KoolBloom before but never Terpinator. Since it doesn’t look like nitrogen toxicity I would go to the lights. ✌️

Hey there @FloridaMike love the set up bro!!
Back in the day we ran a nice hashplant, flood and drain in pebble beds.....ah the old days!

How did you get the leaf temps? Are you able to move one plant left and right of the troubled hashplant for a couple more readings.

I would say it could be as simple as that specific plant (strain) cannot handle the light output as well as the others. It seems as though all the other variables are on point and definitely in the sweet zone
