I got to see an SR71 up close in a hanger at the old base I was at. It had been retired already but NASA had a hanger right next to ours and they had one that landed overnight. They still fly all kinds of retired war birds. They strap components to them to test.

So a funny story about L7 Wednesday back in like 96 or something like that vans war tour was kind of new. It wasn’t really that big of a thing yet and it wasn’t necessarily just punk rock like it ended up being there towards the end, so that being said They were getting heckled pretty badly for being an all chick Band and that was really the only reason for it because on all honesty every time I ever saw L7 they fucking crushed it so I don’t know what the fuck their problem was but anyway they were heckling them and shit and home chick the lead singer, who was wearing a pair of cut off Daisy Dukes and shit and it happened to be her heavy day And she went ahead and whipped her tampon out, twirled it like a bolo, and it tossed into the crowd and peg someone in the face with a bloody tampon. If that isn’t fucking metal I don’t know what it is.
