Ice Water Hash Time, again. Starting with 5.5 oz of material. High quality trim with little bitty buds. Curious what my return will be on 73u & 120u. The actual flower that this trim is from tested at 28%. Did a run last night at 2am. And it’s 10:27pm tonight and I’m at it again. Got everything setup outside because it’s once again 20 degrees out there and running all the equipment in the cold after letting it sit outside in the cold works so much better than indoors. Ok. Here’s my process so far. Take the trim/little bitty buds and put them in a 220 bag, then pack ice on top of it and zip it up. Then I’ll throw it in the five gallon machine, which will already have a few inches of water at 32 degrees, and then I’ll add more ice and finally more water to get it closer to the top and so it’ll actually spin. Set the timer for ten minutes and let it go. I’m also using RO water tonight. See if it makes any difference over last nights batch using city water. And we’re off. I’ll update with results later.

How do you clean your machine and bags when you're done?
I use my garden hose and make bubble outside on the patio furniture, but that's not an option in freezing weather.

Betty Lou. appx 25 days flowering.
King Louis Xlll x Scott OG cross.
Looks like she's gonna have pretty
orange hairs, which she seems
to have an awfully lot of already.

King Louis XIII:

  • Flowering Time: Typically 8 to 9 weeks.

Scott OG:

These durations are approximate and can vary based on specific growing conditions and phenotypes.

Right before this run I gave them a good 70% isopropyl soak, put some gloves on and scrubbed the mesh against itself to kinda scrub it, then rinsed like crazy and finally ran them on the gentle cycle, with a couple crappy hand towels that I keep around for stuff like this, no soap but I use tap cold, for the water, which can get to 39, in an upright high efficiency washing machine to further clean and rinse them.
