Today has been a pretty good day so far. This morning I held a family meeting about growing an auto on the deck and what space should be used. My wife and son are in San Diego with both of my daughters so the agenda ran smoothly and passed unanimously. Tomorrow we vote on TGR’s “Field of Green” concept out back.

Not many soil ingredients have a large, catalogable death toll.

Vermiculte and bat guano do though.

Vermiculite mining and the products it produces are directly responsible for just about every asbestos related death ever. And bat guano harvesting for fertilizer literally causes ebola outbreaks in africa. People literally both bleed, and suffocate to death so gardeners can use that stuff while the government of the "death tolls" rake in profits. Imho it's borderline evil.

Ed Rosenthal is my pot hero. He's known as a Cali guy now but my boy was born and cut his teeth here in the Bronx USA. We've been doing indoor before BC bud was even on the map. The real OG shit.

There were some folks in Costa Mesa, CA who got real ballsy and decided to form a church centered around taking cannabis as a sacrament... Fucking loved that place. They were carrying the 500mg WOW Brownies after California implemented dose limits on packaging. You didn't "buy" weed from them, it was called a donation. They even had a sanctuary on site where they held church on Sundays and yoga and meditation sessions during the week. Their prices were awesome, they had a broad selection it was all good except the city of Costa Mesa decided they didn't like how they figured out how to game the system through a legal loophole and shut them down permanently for "building code violations." I showed up one day to see the notice on the door the city had posted, and the things they cited them for were absolute petty bullshit... They were using an extension cord in a manner that wasn't to code. It was a good run while it lasted, they managed about 4 years til the city put the nail in their coffin.

Was huge into Ed, jack, Nevil and all the old cats. Know a few old hippie guys in appalachia that have been doing this since before skunks were a thing too. One of my favorites is literally an old dead head with one eye that lives in a homemade shack on top of a mountain hahahaha.

my cannabis hero, though, was an eldery woman called Tammy i knew back in KC lol.

Im still running some of her genetics too. She disappeared off social media years ago. Havent heard from her in years either. Just about everything i know thats practically applicable and truly effective with cannabis i learned through her.

There was that guy who got famous for a bit on the "overgrow the government" backlash of Marc Emory too. Spent years spreading hemp and ditch seeds all around the rail systems of the midwest and canada. All that guy accomplished was messing up a bunch of midwestern outdoor grows to this very day lmao. The government had nearly burned out all the wild midwestern hemp and dude brought it all back in like 3 or 4 years. Wrong land race sativas unfortunately, and it not the 90s anymore. The government doesnt spend money to help keep the midwestern outdoor flower clean of seeds by accident because they think we actually smoke that wild ditch shit

I’ve been through this before, and you are better off asking your neighbor to come over and water for you. I asked my girlfriend to water once while I was gone fishing for a few days. I left a couple two liters of water in the tent and said 1 two liter per two plants. Pretty easy. I came home three days later to almost dead plants and about 1/4 of one 2 liter had been used. The worst part, my gf smokes weed. Needless to say I don’t ask her to water anymore.
