I have both plants in a seal environments, each with a fabric pot of coco that I saturated to keep the humidity up. Exhaust kicks in if it goes over 60% so that's been pretty stable.

They're chilling right at 67F now. The weather's been all over the place and I'm hoping it stays cool until they're done. Last time I chopped a month later and couldn't keep the temps down so it was somewhere in the 70s the whole time.
I find low to mid 70’s to be a bit too cool for me, my RH drops off in the cooler temps, im all evap based to maintain RH, so 80-82 keeps me in that 47-50% sweet spot, if I back down to say 75f my RH will drop to about 25-35% and I can see the negative effects on the plants

I just flipped the 4x8 and 4x4 isint even flipped yet, so this should be interesting, I should be chopping the 4x8 a few weeks after I get the garden in the ground

Saving dates for next year to work off of better, this is a really off year for temps and precip, if the plants finish with good temps (should be maintaining nights in the 50’s end of may when I start planting in the ground) but it’s a damn early year for the warmth we’ve been having, not stable enough to do anything outside anytime soon, way too early

This chick has been fucked with one too many times at work 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I don't recall the actual year, it was sometime around 1979 or 1980... High Times Magazine included a pull out poster in an issue that featured about 10 of the most well known Hawaiian landrace strains. I remember a Pakalolo Express on there. I don't remember Pineapple Express or Pineapple Chunk but it doesn't mean they weren't on there. Some other ones were Kala Pana Puna, Molokai something (express?), Maui Wowie, Kona Gold and one from Kawaii I don't remember the name. I had that poster hanging in my room and dreamed of one day trying each and every one of them.
Ive grown prob a dozen different "pineapple" strains/clones so far, and although most were fantastic, ive still never had a flower id call legit pineapple smell, just similar.

Ive grown prob 20 "mango" plants, and only ever got close. But now i have the most extreme mango smelling flower ive ever had, Its like cracking a can of Jumex mango nectar, and it came out of a seed batch that was supposedly an old Jack x Big bud lineage.

it definitely wasnt jhbb, but i got a crazy mango plant finally.

Still need to get a true pineapple profile one of these days. I've had em to smoke a time or twice but never had one in a clone that was truly a "pineapple" pheno sadly.

i been seacrhing for that true oldschool stains your face pine for years now. Just ordered some white thunder seeds from a no name company called Kera, because years and years ago i got my only true pine pheno from them. Hoping i can find it again. Was a newbie grower and never cloned it at the time. Surprised its still a thing at all.

theyre damn near extinct now.

I get some pine to the profiles every now and then, ill pick up some bud and itll have some pine in the smell and flavor. Some of my peacveblasters are piney. But a lot of other stuff going on too in them, skunky, chemy, savory, gassy etc. Theyre usually pretty damn complex just no sweet or fruity.

I havent had a bag of bud street or self produced with that "stains your face like pine sol" profile in a long ass time

until that 1 pheno of white thunder i only ran once as like a 16yo, i thought that crazy pine was something people were putting on the weed. But that white thunder would stain your face like pine sol, even from a popcorn bud dried in the oven 🤣 🤣 🤣 The jarred smoke grown half assed by a 16yo and pulled early was absolutely incredible with the pine flavor.

I had never tried cloning before, but that was when i decided i needed to clone all my females and decide what im keeping later, because i only had the one true pine pheno out of several popped white thunders.

that was the very last time i ever tasted that true stains your face pine until two summer ago. A deadhead friend i made in KC was growing these giant pointy christmas tree buds that did the stain your face pine thing. He gave me a fat bud full of seeds too.

Me and captain popped several of them and all we got were mango and dog shampoo smelling hybrid phenos. The Mango nectar is one of those. He said they were reg seed too, but between three growers there was only a single male (although that kinda happened in reverse with me and captain on the haymeadow purps too 🤣)

Long story short its been 16 years and im still hunting for that True pine-flavored flower. I ordered four 3 packs of those kera white thunders from herbies once i found out they still stock them. 🤞🤞

Hey Mike, I prayed to Joe Pesci that you
make it to your sister's and back safely
and uneventfully; as well as safe and
magical journeys for your Brother in law.

And here here you sit, safe & sound!

What more proof do you need?

Prayer works Brother. Prayer works...💪🙏💪🚗🤜😝💨

The Durban I have puts out a nice pine taste.

BTW I found the High Times issue that had the Hawaiian strains. December 1980. https://archive.hightimes.com/article/1979/12/1/hawaiian-high

Guess I didn't remember as well as I thought... but the "express" was Molokai.

Big girl fucked around and found out. lol

My house never gets below 45% RH. Tent stays in the 60s the whole grow, tried everything to get it lower and nothing works. Plants don't seem to care so I just go with it now.

Holy chit mang, they're blowing up!

Do you have access to the back doors
of the 4x8?

If not, how do you plan on working in
the back of the tent? - asking for a friend😇💨
Well… plan on this run is I’m hunting mains, most of any smaller stuff won’t be kept, I’m fairly nimble when I need to be I clean em from underneath, I want to have even spacing if I can for uniformity, we’ll see how it turns out

I’m not a weight hunter 👊👊
