What size pot? Fabric or plastic?
She's in a 3 gallon plastic pot. Same pot size and plant size i normally run crammed into a 3x3. Can take just a smidge under a half gallon before itll drain.
Special queen is my heaviest feeding plant though. Seems to be an even heavier feeder then my flo gdp. Although eating this much in a soil is kinda absurd, im not actually surprised at all that it's her doing it. If theres any plant gonna feed in a soil like its DWC it's gonna be special queen lol.
Really it just means the NPK/micronutrient ratios, PH, and EC/ppm is dialed in exactly where she wants it to be (bout damn time too). Shes eating faster then shes drinking, thats what you want. It's just very difficult to dial in such a context outside soiless or hydro. When the ratios are dialed in like this, you can just keep feeding at high ppm every watering through the final swell until they start drinking slower. When the day comes she stops eating so fast, shell get straight water til chop. Itll prob be right about a week of straight water assuming all pans out properly.
honestly getting a plant this dialed in with a soil, kinda makes me miss DWC even more lmfao. Its a lot easier to create a self-sustaining feedback loop of explosive growth in that context, you get less wiggle room with things like EC and PH, but a LOT more wiggle room on your NPK/micronutrient ratios.
