Yeah our whole family is in the process of moving completely away from canned or boxed food as much as possible and headed toward eating as many local and fresh Whole Foods as possible. It makes life a little more difficult sometimes but I feel way better.

Listened to a lot of things about gut bacteria and it’s relationship with the brain causing a lot of physical and mental problems. Just look around nowadays, it’s actually kinda scary.

ITS THE SOY! It’s turning these men into….. girls.
The infamous Soy Boys 🤣

My 2x2 kahuna started pulling magnesium like crazy after I moved her from the 1x3 . I hit her with some Epsom salt foliar spray and even watered some in. I think the 6 plants that were in the 2x2 have all bounced back nicely and are adjusting well now to their transplanted pots and extra space. I now plan on flipping both tents to 12/12 on Sunday 4:20 .
My #2 was cal hungry last run in my organic mix, this time so far they look damn clean mid week 4 I’m liking what I see, I’m looking to see if I need to increase mag beyond craft blend and the rest of my amendments, but I think it’s covered, well see though this run and the next but

Do you supplement any calcium in your soil? I recently started using Down to Earth’s oyster shell to add calcium to the soil.

This!

Last year the wife and I gave up sugar, processed foods, anything with preservatives or shit we cannot pronounce. We cook at home and rarely eat out, and when we do we pick places that are healthy. Ever since then, foods have tasted much better, and the best part is fruits taste like how fruit used to taste 15, 20, or 30 years ago!

Extra benefits are losing weight, feeling better, sleeping better, and I cured myself of Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis!

We dabble a bit in the home food preservation ourselves all tomatoes just just crushed, sauce is made fresh each time

Canned
Tomatoes
peaches
Apples
Apple sauce mostly tomatoes

We avoid stores at all cost, make our own pasta fresh a lot too

In the huild a soil so far no I’ve added nothing, but it’s pre prepped to be able to do 2 full runs being full living organic soil

The craft blend has fish bone meal and fish meal (x3) plus Sol-Pol-Mag or (K-Mag or Langbeinite)

So it should be fully prepped as is

Here’s the breakdown of craft blend (sorry it’s long lol)

✅ Thorvin Premium Kelp Meal

This nutrient-rich kelp meal is packed with natural growth hormones and trace minerals that boost plant vitality. 🌊 It improves resistance to stress, enhances root development, and promotes lush, green growth. 🌿

✅ Black Soldier Fly Insect Frass

Insect frass is an organic fertilizer that stimulates soil microbiology, enriching the soil with essential nutrients. 🦟It brings strong nutrients, trace minerals and has very low metals. It’s like giving your plants a probiotic boost, leading to stronger, healthier growth. 🌱

✅ Alfalfa Meal

Alfalfa meal is a natural source of nitrogen and growth stimulants, encouraging vigorous plant development. 🌾 It also helps improve soil structure, making it easier for roots to penetrate and access nutrients. 💚

✅ BuildASoil Organic High P Bran

High in phosphorus, this bran is essential for flowering and root development. 🌸 It supports a robust bloom phase, leading to bigger, more bountiful harvests. 🌟

✅ Camelina Meal

Camelina meal is a unique source of omega-rich nutrients that improve soil fertility. 🌼 It promotes healthier, more resilient plants by enhancing their natural defenses. 🛡️

✅ Crustacean Meal

Rich in chitin, crustacean meal helps plants build stronger cell walls, increasing resistance to pests and diseases. 🦀 It also enhances soil structure, leading to better water retention and nutrient uptake. 💧

✅ Fish Meal & Fish Bone Meal (3x)

Packed with essential nutrients, fish meal and bone meal are the backbone of any thriving garden. 🐟 They provide slow-release nitrogen and phosphorus, ensuring sustained growth and vibrant blooms. 🌼

✅ Organic NON-GMO Food Grade Soybean Meal

This plant-based protein source is rich in nitrogen, supporting robust vegetative growth. 🌱 It’s perfect for boosting the green, leafy parts of your plants. 🍃

✅ Sul-Po-Mag (K-Mag or Langbeinite)

This natural mineral complex delivers potassium, magnesium, and sulfur – all vital for healthy plant growth. 🧂 It promotes strong stems, improved photosynthesis, and enhances flavor and aroma in your harvest. 🍅

✅ Organic Malted Barley

Malted barley is a powerhouse of enzymes that accelerate plant growth. 🍺 It improves nutrient availability and supports a thriving soil ecosystem. 🌍

✅ Volcanic Tuff & Micronized Basalt - Blue Ridge Meta

These volcanic minerals provide a rich source of trace elements that nourish your plants and improve soil health. 🌋 They enhance root strength, support vigorous growth, and increase overall plant vitality. 🏋️‍♂️

✅ Gypsum & Oyster Flour

Gypsum and oyster flour improve soil structure, increase calcium availability, and help prevent nutrient lockout. 🦪 They’re essential for strong cell walls, leading to sturdy, resilient plants. 💪

So yeah it’s in the craft blend but you aren’t adding any extra. That’s a cool breakdown of what goes into craft blend.

This is incredible, you mean you fixed your guts naturally without having to take a medication for the rest of your life. Isn’t it strange how the path of least resistance is actually the path with the most pitfalls? Doing things the hard way is better for you, and more rewarding too. I made the analogy the other day when talking to my friend, as a species that went from hunter gatherer to farmer to a mass consumer in just over a span of 12,000 years. The luxury of not having to either, grow or raise your food is a new one, less than 100 years old at this point. So the mere fact that we can eat pre packaged garbage full of chemicals, goes against our own evolution as a species. It only makes sense that convenience stores are saving you minutes on one end of your life and taking years away on the other end of your life. Not that convenient now are they??
Yep, all healed. A doc wanted to put me on entivio or some shit... After I went home and researched side effects, I was like fuck no hell no.

That was 2019. I immediately began to eat better, and gravitated towards Korean and Vietnamese food *if* we went out to eat at all.

Preparing and cooking at home is not hard, once you get used to it... Just like anything else in life.

Fast forward to last spring when I had my spiritual awakening, and then things really took off health-wise, soul-wise, and life in general is just way better. You know how people talk about food macros? Proteins, fats, carbs? Well life is like food macros. Your life macros have to be in balance... Mind, body, soul.

Join me on April 20th for my TED talk where I crack skulls and bend minds! 😁
