pebbels and cherry
Fruity Pebbles is from Seed Supreme.
Trop Cherry is from HeisenBeans, Heisen made his S1 from Relentless Genetics clone only back when it first came out.
They have a new one (Trop Cherry Gas) but I'm not paying 150$ for 6 seeds.
HeisenBeans run 35$ for 12 pack
$40 for all his new new.
Them Blueberry crosses I'm running now, that Blueberry Sugar came from (blockhead) that was a clone only last year for $750. For 1 fucking cut.
Dudes are crazy 🤣

How's everybody doing lately? I've been pretty busy, myself. We had a bit of a health scare with my mother back in December, they even referred her to the Mayo clinic bc they couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. Long story short they got it figured out, now, and she's doing much better.

We have company coming next weekend to stay for a month. I'm working on the "finishing touches" on my house, as some of you may know, I've been remodeling and redecorating. That has been the biggest consumer of my time over the past year or so, now. Along with my own health going down the shitter, I haven't had time/energy for growing in a long time. I did grow a couple indoor plants over the winter, but nothing to really "write home" about 🤣 I have started seeds for an outdoor rotation this year, though. We'll see how it goes.

At any rate, I was wondering what kind of hobbies y'all have been into lately aside from growing? Personally, I've picked up making custom/homemade Lava Lamps. I figured you guys might get a kick out of this.

I haven't made any actual homemade lamps yet, but I have made my own wax (aka lava) which is a whole rabbit hole in itself. Pretty fun hobby, though, modifying and making custom lava lamps. Here's my latest homemade wax in action -

That’s pretty cool 😎, I flyfish, hunt, camp, and paddle myself around in my canoe or kayak. Although growing indoors keeps me from going too far from home lately. I have a couple tents that I like to keep an eye on daily. And when I get board of all that stuff I cook, clean, and double as a scratching post for my 3 Maine Coons 🤣

False Albacore caught at the coast guard station inlet at Block Island, these things are capable of swimming 40mph with your fly in their mouth. Mave favorite fish to chase on a flyrod.

omg that pic over your face lmfaooo

I haven't gone fly fishing since I was a kid, I used to be big into that and fly tying, I have only had the chance to go fishing at all like once in the past 2 or 3 years now. I need to go!

And Maine Coons, yeah we have a bunch of Maine Coon/Russian Blue mixes. Great cats, love em! 🤠

I'll definitely post more pics of my custom lava lamps in the future, I have a ton of them but not many pictures, need to go take more 🤠 👍

Yeah I wet a line yesterday before work for the first time in months, striped bass are in right now which provides plenty of entertainment from now through the fall run. I took up the sport back in 2002 and went full bore into it, I tie my own flies too. It’s a great way to waste time and money and the experiences make it worth it. I get torn between the fresh and salt water this time of year part of the reason I love living in NH mountains and the sea within an hour and a half of each other.

That reminds me of the time we spent in Oregon. Lived in Brookings for like almost a year. Same deal, mountains and ocean within a stone's throw of each other. It was nice. Not a big fan of the people there, though lmao and good Lord I've never seen so many overweight people in one town in my entire life. It must be because of all the rain they get in the PNW. Cuz yeah, lots of big folks, there! 🤣

Our last night of a 5 night stay
View attachment 2434582View attachment 2434583
I've gone through about a half oz in 5 days of rest and recharge. Mt Laguna some 6000' elevation in San Diego county. Arrived Sunday afternoon and Monday night we had 40+ mph winds and a bit of rain and got a bit cold at upper 30's to lower 40's at night every night so we have a Mr Heater and 5 gallon tank that keeps the tent about 10F warmer.

We get the site for half, I've got a senior pass so we paid like $90 for the week. We bought the lights just for camping.

We also took bread, Sliced meats and sliced cheeses, hot dogs and Buns, chips, cheese dip, salsa and a loaf of Date Nut Raisin bread from a Bakery in Julian so we ate well without dishes other than a few utensils.

There's a larger bathroom with quarter showers you can use coed, if ya know what i mean, nudge nudge grin grin. Always nice to spend time in nature and away from city life.

Was about to hit post when my wife sees this owl

Not a great pic but was amazing to see fly away. Great vacation😉
Very nice. Julian is amazing. If I lived anywhere in San Diego that’s where it would be.
