That’s pretty cool 😎, I flyfish, hunt, camp, and paddle myself around in my canoe or kayak. Although growing indoors keeps me from going too far from home lately. I have a couple tents that I like to keep an eye on daily. And when I get board of all that stuff I cook, clean, and double as a scratching post for my 3 Maine Coons 🤣

False Albacore caught at the coast guard station inlet at Block Island, these things are capable of swimming 40mph with your fly in their mouth. Mave favorite fish to chase on a flyrod.
Sail away on the block island fairy!

That’s about 30 minutes from where I live lol

Even funnier story is my uncle is in for out of Town and him and my dad are out there on his boat right now. I’m pretty sure fluke fishing. Probably mostly catching a buzz on the boat haha

A couple Querkle I transplanted last week. Shoutout to Diesel Junkie on YouTube! They will be going in an Earthbox in my 3x3 in another week or so under a Maxsisun MG3000.

Yeah I wet a line yesterday before work for the first time in months, striped bass are in right now which provides plenty of entertainment from now through the fall run. I took up the sport back in 2002 and went full bore into it, I tie my own flies too. It’s a great way to waste time and money and the experiences make it worth it. I get torn between the fresh and salt water this time of year part of the reason I love living in NH mountains and the sea within an hour and a half of each other.
The Wiper and white bass runs just finished up down here.

Man you get into a good school of those at a good time, there is nothing else more fun man. Such wonderful memories around those suckers. One after another, and they fight SO hard.

I was wondering why the hell it was so muggy and humid in the shop.

walleye and pearch are waaaaaaaaaaaaay better eating then wipers and stripers though. I throw the wipers back, they cant breed anyway.

I keep the walleye and pearch. mmmmmmmm. Its very hard to beat walleye and pearch. Some of the only fish that dont scavenge, and will only eat live moving, or flashing stuffs (although if theyre breeding, pearch will strike a bare hook just because it pisses them off lol)

Went out on Huron for walleye and pearch when younger in spring/summer up north. Went out at saginaw bay MI

agreed.

I almost tossed crappie and panfish into my post. Not sure why i decided not to. Theres a quarry near by that has MONSTER pumpkinseeds damn near as big is the shell crackers in the reservoirs here. Hand sized slab after hand sized slab. They get lumpy and grumpy lookin in the face that big too lmao. If youre on the right flat in the right week of the right month with the right jig, you might go home with over 100 crappie too.
