That property is going to be so nice on a few years. Not that it isn’t now.

After owning my first house for going on two years in June I got to remember that it’s a marathon and not a sprint. Getting all those fruiting trees and stuff takes a few years but it’s great. I luckily bought my property with a couple macoon apple trees, a couple pear trees, fenced In Vegetable garden area and tons of blueberries and strawberry’s in the back wood line that have been overgrown into like a wild patch of all types of cool shit lol that area is my project this summer.

Now that everything is coming alive this spring I’m like oh okay this is why I bust my ass last year haha

Nothing better than walking out your back for and eating in your own backyard for free, the fruit trees are around 4 years in ground jow when we moved in we planted those same with the raspberries, the whole backyard was full of trees we cut them down and used them to heat our home the first 2 years here lol, there was no gardens here when we started, now the wife said fuck the grass cover it all with beds, fair warning, she said it, it’s fuckin on!

Yeah I’ve been slowly getting tree work done myself. Took down two huge pines and an oak and still only get full sun to like 25% of my yard lol

I heard about no mow May last year and I jumped right on that bandwagon 🤣, I don’t have a big yard so it’s not a difficult task to mow, but it buys me another month out of the year where I don’t have to bother with it. And my neighbor is all about it too, we both have gardens, just giving those pollinators a little extra time to wake up. 😉

Yeah I usually let mine go as long as possible until my girl starts complaining about how her spring flowers look shitty with the long grass lmao this is the second time I’ve mowed it.

No mow may I like this. I’ll try it next year and let yall know when the funeral is!

Has anyone else ever suffered from stretch-xiety like that feeling when you put a plant into flower really small planning on it to stretch and for three weeks you’re like damn this thing is gonna be tiny. This thing is gonna be tiny. I should’ve vegged it longer and then boom it grows like 6 inches overnight every time I do this every friggen time lmao

that wont go away.

and yea, that thing i just DM'd you about what happens when a peaceblaster (or any strong sativa dom or land racey plant for that matter) isnt in a pot or under an artificial light.

Its like the most extreme version of that, in early june youll be thinking they wont get as big as you thought, by mid july youll be thrilled, by the beginning of august two weeks later, itll sink in that theyre only like half the size theyre gonna finish at, and theyre already as big as you wanted them to finish if not bigger.

Last year was my first year not just putting cloned plants outdoors in mid june or having smaller plants in containers. Had the land to do it away from KC. (when younger technically i had plants in ground, but just put in the dirt where they sat, and largely left to their own devices with a rare miracle grow feeding lol) And holy shit man, its a bit different with strong sativa dna in ground, from seed, for a full season well-fed. I had to use a ladder to upkeep the bigger peaceblasters up top. had no other option.
