This light is my problem. I’ve raised it to 30 inches. Intensity is at 25%. I’m at like half the ppfd that I supposedly need. Then I get to thinking they need more light.
Light intensity is 100% subjective to strain.
Not all plants are created equal.
Getting an eye for lighting issues def comes with experience and redundancy. I already know you have logged a ton of info just getting your ladies into veg. Now they are there. Don’t mess with the lights too much. They will either stay low, or they will start to reach. If they start reaching too much, crank up the output some.

Interesting cause I was wondering why my Grimm Truffles plant leaves almost look purple cause they got so dark green. I never knew that not enough light makes it turn blue or purple. I'm going to take it out tomorrow morning put in dining room in sunlight see what she looks like.

These Giixer lights aren't real strong. But it's still 220W. I was hoping the Sativa or the Autos would finish up so I can use their lights. Don't feel like sinking another 300 on a Mars Hydro.

I messed up with my slow cooker. Kept it on low. Lid on. Butter and decarbed cannabis in mason jars with lids.

It got too hot,, pretty sure it got too hot and I burned of the good stuff.

Now I use a small pot with some mason jar rings, and mason jars as a double boiler 👍 works for me.
Yeh this my first try so I'll just keep checking the temp. I got an electric stove which sucks for keeping Temps cause takes awhile for it to adjust if you go too hot

The Filipino Sativa has an interesting smell. When picking out the dead leaves my fingers got more sticky than usual. She's putting out more resin. This time it didn't smell like peaches and spices. It was more like a chocolate and nut smell. Reminded me of how the chocolate factory I used to work in smelled.

The breeder does mention that at first it smells of tropical fruits then becomes more complex later in flower. So this may be a signal that she's at least in mid to late flower. I hope 😂😂😂

That helps a lot. Just never knew how to tell if it’s getting enough light. I measured the ppfd and it’s pretty low compared to where it’s suppose to be but I’ll just play it by eye.
