I've thought about adding worms.......you're talking about indoors, 3gal pots (if I got the math right, and 12 of them?

We all know that worms are good for soil, and it's good to find them.......but to put them into your indoor pots........have you done this before? No issues with them trying to escape? I think worms like things damp/humid, but not overly wet, how do you let your soil have dry periods (before watering), and wouldn't the roots eventually cause them crowding trouble?

I put 3-5 worms in each 11 liter pot. No problem with them escaping. I breed my own worms too.

Breed your own worms.......that is hard core...

How about naming them? "This weed was fertilized by Lenny". Everyone gets upset and runs to wash their mouths out........"A worm! Lenny is a worm!!".......everyone relaxes.....

Do I wanna know how you breed worms? Don't you just.......leave them alone? ;)

I'm not that hardcore... I just rescue a few tubs from the bait shop lol... never put them inside, but I only start inside, well until this attempt at an auto I'm currently doing anyway.

Do you think i could but a generic brand of potting soil from a garden store and mix it with perlite, guano, ewc lime etc and it would be fine to use with nutes?

breeding worms is oddly satisfying. tried it for a bit when i was going ham fishing almost every night. My grandfather did it on a creepy large level and sold them to a bait shop nearby. was cool as heck to see from a kids viewpoint.
