i have strange water, it comes out of my storage can @ 0 ppm and 8.4 ph. if i put just 1 drop of ph down in 2gal, it tanks at 4.5-5.0 if i use ph up, it takes like 8-10 drops to bring it back up to 5.8. when i mix up a batch of nutrients in the plain ro water (8.4), it usually comes in @ around 6.0 after all ingredients are added.

that’s crazy you drop that hard , but yeah that’s the same as it used to be for me, a drop of PH down would tank it. And it would take a ton of PH up to correct it, Most likely due to the type of neuts you’re using, like fox farms is shipped in a low PH formulation to keep them stable in shipping

Hers a bottle of fox farms for example

When I run my micro and bloom when I’m not running organic if I go 7.3 base PH water, then add 3ml micro and 8ml bloom per gallon I end up in the 6.5ph range, with the Alaska fish fert or advanced nutrients organics OG tea etc they don’t mess with the ph like that, when I water, it’s around 6.8-6.9 in 100% peat I should be at what 6.1- 6.3 or I’d be at the brink of lockout feeding synthetics. sounds crazy but…. Do they look like they have a ph imbalance?

When I say organic I mean anything That goes in is OMRI labeled

@Mikedin, your plants and setup look fantastic. it's crazy how ph #s are different in most grows, most with great results. i run a range of 5.8-6.2. i like to start a fresh batch after sunday flush @ 5.8, then let it slowly creep up to 6.0 or 6.1 over the course of the week. i see some peeps on here that try to keep it within 0.1 pts.
while flushing and starting anew ea week may seem like a waste of nutes, and time, in the end it solves 98% of nute burn, salt build up and trying to solve deficiency symptons. if the mix was perfectly good for them last week, it should be perfectly good for them this week (baring of course transition periods, (knowing when to) switch to flowering) etc.
