I would think that if your booster was after the splitter, it would help equalize that, right?Just found this old farm post….now I am really overthinking it.View attachment 2084617

I have a dual six inch manifold that I have mounted. The bottom side is capped. I used to run a tent in here at the same time as other grows…..it was needed. So buddy I just run the exhaust up into my attic. Works great. No need to split it into anything.
Careful with your home heating and cooling when exhausting outside. Usually an afterthought, until your furnace is toast in the winterYeah tents are in the basement, I’m going to run it out a small window now.
I was trying to prevent the duct going through the unfinished spare guest room but you got to do what you got to do.
One of the reasons I love going into the attic with it, at least In the summer it helps cool the house down. In the winter not so much but still. It help. But you’re definitely right. Hopefully the central ac intake isn’t anywhere near your grow…..it’ll keep the system running overtime…..Careful with your home heating and cooling when exhausting outside. Some good carbon filters and I exhaust right into the lung room, mind tou it’s connected to an open 40x50’ crawlspace next to it but furnace and hot water heater are right in the lung room never have an issue, if. My basement gets pretty cold when I’m running the stoves in the winter so the temps are 100% based off light output, gets chilly at lights out hahaOne of the reasons I love going into the attic with it, at least In the summer it helps cool the house down. Not only that, but as someone who's grown underground in basements for decades, I can personally testify that if you do exhaust your grow room into the attic, make sure the attic also has proper ventilation. Why? Mold and mildew. I've seen a lot of houses get ruined from growing in the basement, etc. Keep in mind exhausting all that humid air into the attic (or just being in the basement) allows moisture, mold and mildew to build up INSIDE of your walls, etc.Careful with your home heating and cooling when exhausting outside. Mikedin Mini cloner looks sick! Some good carbon filters and I exhaust right into the lung room, mind tou it’s connected to an open 40x50’ crawlspace next to it but furnace and hot water heater are right in the lung room never have an issue, if. The staggered light schedules help though been working on that timing for 2 years now haha
The Mikedin mini cloner may be making an appearance soon for the cali blue and cali dreams! Gettin her set up now!
I built it awhile back, there the smaller 8ish gallon totes filled the top with liquid flex seal to cut in the net pots, small pump in the bottom with homemade manifold underneath I’ll find the post whenbb be I made it and tag ya in my journal when I doMikedin Mini cloner looks sick!
Is that a re-purposed home depot tub as the base? Do you use a fogger/humidifier or a mister of some sort for the root zone?
Are you worried about mold in your attic or is it dry enough? One of the reasons I love going into the attic with it, at least In the summer it helps cool the house down. Yeah, I’m going to get mine vented outside asap, I can feel the heavy air when I walk into the roomNot only that, but as someone who's grown underground in basements for decades, I can personally testify that if you do exhaust your grow room into the attic, make sure the attic also has proper ventilation. I have the air dry enough before it goes through the filter. Dialed in grow space, it’ll be gravy. Are you worried about mold in your attic or is it dry enough?
Yeah but I live in Texas bro, it’s almost 100% humidity year round here. So if anything I’m depositing drier air than what the environment provides as is….Not only that, but as someone who's grown underground in basements for decades, I can personally testify that if you do exhaust your grow room into the attic, make sure the attic also has proper ventilation. I have a 4500 Sq ft dehu just for the lung room but never run it, lung room RH stays at 45% usually except dead of summer; gunna plan flower times around that this year to avoid having to run itYeah but I live in Texas bro, it’s almost 100% humidity year round here.
