Hi all. First time grower here. Long story short, started out with 10 photo fem seeds (3 varieties) & I'm mid flower on 8 that are doing well. Dog ate 1 in the beginning of veg and I'm torn about this one (see pic). Beautiful green color but failure to launch. It hasn't grown beyond 18-20 inches in 14 weeks. Same soil, same light, same water, same seed set, same room, same temp/rh as the others but it doesn't want to grow up. I flipped it to flower with all the others when they were ready & wondering now ....should I/could it be flipped back to veg longer (after 5 weeks of 12/12) or do I say RIP little girl & be done with it or do I experiment with how long it will live as a house plant? Maybe I should put it in the ground & forget about it. Maybe mother nature will decide for me. What would you do? Whats the norm?

If the other plants are under the same conditions and are doing well the issue is most likely a genetic one. 14 weeks for that one is wack however I also have never seen a cannabis plant develop like that. Did this girl go through a traumatic defolation?

Funny you ask that as I went defoliation crazy prematurely with the others but not this one. I just now removed a few tiny leaves just before taking the pic from the lower half but this one hasn't gotten bushy enough to traumatize

Well then here is my vote.
👎
And I would like to see the other also.
Lol My vote too. I'd like to try putting it back to veg but not going to lie, this has been an exhausting experience & I still have a long time to go with the others. Separating this one, whipping out the humidifier etc again for likely weeks kinda makes me want to scream lol

I was thinking in terms of taking it back to veg. If it’s performing poorly now it will continue to do so if it enters flower at a bad pace. That’s what I’ve found anyhow. I wait until the plants are at a strong show of growth and then I flip.

I drill holes in the sides of all my plastic pots if I have to use them to get better air to the roots. Plastic can be a nightmare.
Me too. They went from seedings in red plastic cups to the big orange pots. Then I decided before flipping to take others advice & pick up some 7gal grow bags. The budding 8 were far bigger than the one I left in the orange pot. That's why I never repotted that one. But it has holes & aerated feet you cant see in pic...like this

Right on. I only use plastic in the early stages and just went to grow bags last year. Such a small change makes such a huge difference. 😁
