Currently growing Blueberry muffins by Humboldt seed co and im curious on what my top dress feed schedule should look like from here.

Currently at week 9, they were trans planted at week 7 into 5 gallon pots with an organic mix of bioall, worm castings, dynomyco, and gaia green 444. Supplemental feedings once a week with Mammoth P and Biobizz.

im planning on flipping them in the next 2 weeks or so as they fill out the 3x3 tent.

Im trying to plan out the flush as best as possible. Humboldt says these finish in 45 days which doesn't leave a lot of room for error in top dressing them with the bloom nutrients. I assume they can be pushed an extra week or two, but any advice on when to flip into flower, and also when to top dress so that they flush properly?

Flushing is for hydroponic systems with a build up of nutrients!
You can't "flush" organic soil!

I use Gaia green and I’ve never had to flush. Flower tasted great and smooth. Not sure about the rest of it.

I'm basically following Mr cannucks instructions, he feeds his last top dressing around wk 4 - 5 of flowering so that by harvest there isn't an abundance of nutrients in the soil.

Is that not common amoungst organic growers?

Gaia says the amendments generally last about 4 weeks before needing a top dressing, so it does make sense.

Flushing is pouring large volumes of just water through the medium to "flush" out build ups of salt based nutrients!
Your growing in organic soil so you don't have any salt to build up to then be flushed out!! Which with any soil is almost impossible!
The term your looking for is starving the plants for the last week!
Which if you feel the need to do that go right ahead they are your plants!!

Yeah I guess flush isn't the word for it exactly. Should I just feed them normally right up until the end?

In organic don't ever flush, the plant naturally fades. Its only is an issue of too many nutes if you are feeding liquid nutes in all honesty . I wish we could undo all this bro science nonsense. Plants grow themselves we are glorified damn custodians, they are auto trophs. If you want to tinker then do hydro.

You don't feed organics, they feed themselves from the amendments. Let then do their thing

Thank you. this is my third round and it seems like organic is the simplest method and so far ive been enjoying it. Just learning how to dial everything in now.
Imo it is the easiest and more than that it's how nature works. Just because plants can use salt based liquid nutes doesn't mean it's ideal. They put out all sorts of different sugars to attract many different microbes with the nutrients they need and eat them, then recycle them back into the soil out the root tips. They make their own sugar through photosynthesis so out of soil they are more or less just getting their vitamins.

As everyone has said. Flushing a living soil organic plant is not a great idea.

That being said.
Your plant's requirements for nitrogen will be quite high during the transition / stretch faze. About 4 weeks after flipping.
Weeks 1 threw 3 require high nitrogen input. The same as veg. Week 4 cut the Nitrogen input in 1/2 but keep your P-K the same. 60 ppm to 70 ppm range of Phosphorus is perfect. You do not need to add a lot of bloom mix!

Weeks 5 and 6.
The plant is no longer growing and has transitioned into it's bud production faze. The plants requirements for Nitrogen will be substantially
less now than the previous few weeks. So use 1/3 of the Nitrogen you where feeding during the veg and transition stages.
At this time the plant will be looking for Phosphorus and potassium and Calcium. You do not have to add a lot of Bloom mix.
Just use a small amount of bloom mix to keep the P-K in the same range as it was before cutting back on the Nitrogen.

Weeks 6 & 7
Stop feeding Nitrogen all together at this time. Buy this time the plant is no longer growing.
The plant has been putting everything into flower production for several weeks. From this point on, she is in sugar production mode.
Feed only a little stronger P-K and Calcium solution! You will notice the plant color changing and fall colors. This is just what we want.
Your plant will be in full THC production mode at this time! Take pictures and enjoy her.

Week 8.
Just water week.
Take some nice pictures. Your going to be impressed.
About the end of week 5 do this.
Skip ahead to 8:00 Strip to the tip

Feel free to make changes as you feel necessary. Not all plants finish in 8 weeks.
But this simple formula works for me every time.

So this all makes a lot of sense however, it is my understanding that the Gaia nutrients take a week or two to become available after top dressing, and usually last for more than 2 weeks at a time.

Im planning on feeding a 50:50 ratio of 444 and bloom nutrients upon flipping to flower, and then another top dress of bloom around the 4th week of flowering. Humboldt seed co says these finish in 45 days which is roughly 6.5 weeks, although im expecting them to go a little longer possibly, based on the existing grow diaries out there.,
