Heys guys got 4 ao at around 3 weeks, i want to top them but don't know which node to cut at. Which node would you guys cut at, any help will be brilliant also will topping increase the chances of them being male many thanks.

ok do you include the node where the one blade leaves are? or should i go up one more node.

ok hers how it works - if if you top right under the new growth growing out you will end up with 2 tops instead of just one- now if you wait till there r 5-6 nodes and cut the node below the top you will end up with 4 tops instead :cool0010:

It also controls the hieghth of the plant. I top between the 4 or 6th node depending on how tall and how fast they are growing. Root

by node do u mean branch level? like the 4th branch up if u said forth node?

By no means am I a practiced hand, a noob by many standards but...

I am trying them with 6 nodes this run. 4 on the outside of my tomato cage and 2 out the top. I might try to FIM node 5 to get 2 out the top instead.
