Sorry if this is incredibly stupid but in a normal, non hydroponic, grow...

The parts per million refers to the volume of the roots, correct? Not the actual amount of water i give to the plant, since the plant cant hold that much water, right ?

So when it says 1000 ppm per liter, they mean pot size?
If i want to give half a liter of water to a one liter pot, i would make it 2000 ppm, correct ?

Ppm is the particles in the water. A reverse osmosis filter will give you 0ppm water

Also ppm your water before adding nutes and subtract that number so your getting actual ppm.
The lower the ppm the less nutrients the higher the more nutrients, MJ rarely ever goes above 1500ppm and that gal would be one hungry bitch,lol
