Total darkness, an odd topic.

man kindof afraid mine might do the same during the transition and first week of bloom I using a black out curtain to cover the door and I’m sure light was leaking in since I’m on week 7 and no signs of buds

Signs of flower usually show within the first week after flip.

13 hrs darkness 11 hours light had no negative effects in my experience outside of what you'd expect for 1 hour less of light per day over the course of the plant's flower cycle. I did this because the plants had initially seemed to be very slow flipping when I had them at 12/12
