I had a bucket of water for humidity levels in thd tent when I looked at it it was green in the bottom, I've never seen algae build up in evaporating house water, we always had them on thr vents, the last time it was in the rent it evaporated and there was nothing wrong with the water, anybody of anything odorless that can kill a plant if put in water, i poured it out, it was yellowish green,

I prefer a bit of algae in the water, and I think plants do, means the chlorine has evaporated. Like Rockwool, once its gone green it becomes an organic block and the plants seem to take off.
