Transplant to soil from hydro

So I have my plants growing in an aero garden. Eventually I want to move them to soil and outside. Everything about the AeroGarden says to cut the basket and work the roots out. I don’t see any way of doing that without cutting the roots as well. Does anyone think I can just plant it in soil still in the basket?

Definitely, I do it with netpots all the time. It will destroy your basket though.
