Just my two cents.

When I've used CBD from large to small doses I notice no change, nothing at all.

I don’t notice anything either but the batches I have made have made a big difference for the close friends and family I give it to. I used coconut oil and shake from Sour Tsunami(16% CBD .52% THC) and Harley Tsu(untested) I made BHO with the shake and blew it into hot coconut oil, and left on low heat for two more hours and put it up
In Kerr wide mouth 1/2 pint jars. There is NO
smell of Weed. Friends very happy.
