TW pistils not turning brown?

My TW are on day 54 of 12/12 and still have all white pistils. I was expecting them to go 60 days or so, but they don't look like changing.

1) Do TW pistils change colour, or should I be looking at trichs instead? (usually I wait for pistils to all change, then start looking at trich development)

2) Is this a TW specific thing, or are there other strains than don't change?

3) Like my previous TW, the tops have been burned by the lights and I can't do a lot about it. Would burnt tops cause enough stress to prevent the plant from fully maturing??

Many thanks in advance

anyone? if I don't see some pistil change soon I'm going to force it with Ripen during the flush, but am sure that's not ideal....

Cheers JAG...the trichs are looking mostly cloudy, but still plenty of clear ones. It looks like some of the lower buds might be about to turn so maybe it'll just take a bit longer....will hold on the flush a few days and see what happens.

let it finish, 60 days is fast flowering... u can use fox farm cha ching to give it a boost but let it go until its ripe or you will be pissed when u smoke it

Hey guys, no tips on the TW, but one thing with the Cha Ching, I've found, and a few others i know, that it can actually sprout new growth at the end of flower, so just a little something to take into account. Needless to say in no way an attempt to step on good dreads toes here by the way.

no toe steppin here man, ive had that same problem with cha ching. ill give em a small dose of it right before flush just to give em a little kick in the end. and i use 1/8th tsp per gallon instead of the 1/4 like they tell u. it stops that weird extra growth and just helps them ripen

Thanks guys....they're still going strong....held off on the flush and refilled the res with fresh nutes (inc. PK13/14) and will just be patient.

Not tried Chaching or any of the FF additives...but need to get my grows dialled in before I start trying out new tricks :)

I let one go 10 weeks and some of the hairs were still white.
