Lookin good maing.....I would drop the water level in your buckets until it just barely touches the bottom of your net pots, to high and it doesn't promote good root growth.

I used to hand carry 100-120 of those 5 gallon jugs a week from the water store home..they used to trip out on me..

is that how the uc's come stock now? i notice a few differences, the modules are 90 degrees turned, and the epicenter has a t coming out of it, instead of holes on both sides. so the epicenter bucket now has only 1 hole, and is different than the module buckets. also, your return pump is all pvc. did it come that way, or is that a custom mod? it looks nice, the only reason i ask is i wonder if having those elbows on the 3/4" would cause more restriction or less flow than the flex hose that has more gradual turns. Your system and room look nice, good luck!

also do you have any experience w/ rdwc and chillers? i'm curious if you've ran this many gallons/lights with a chiller of this size and know what to expect? i'm looking to buy a chiller soon.

They do come with a "T" into the epicenter now at a single point, so the epicenter bucket is different than the plant module buckets with 2 holes in them and the epicenter only has 1.

The pvc hard pipe is a mod, the system comes with 3/4" hose with it to make up the connection from the end shutoff on th manifold to the pump..then there is a another elbow piece from the pump to the epicenter inlet barb. It all comes in the kit from the factory though and really no need to modify other than personal preference.

1/4 hp chiller although I run a bigger one now but a small one will work ith the smaller UC systems

All 13 gal. UC systems come with the modules turned @ 90 degrees and include a delivery manifold as well as a return manifold. 8 gal UC systems have two holes in the Epicenter and use water pipes instead of a delivery manifold. All systems include 3/4" return hose stock.

Chillers are usually rated by the number of gallons they can efficiently chill 10+ degrees. For instance a 1/4hp eco plus chiller can cool 170 gal 10 degrees. Look at your desired room temp and water temp and do the math.
