Hi all. I'm a newer grower with two successful grows under my belt. But I had issues with my latest seed since germination. It germinated via paper towel method, but slowly and looked a bit smaller/weaker than the others. I transferred to soil anyway. It took a few days to break surface and when it did, it didn't look too healthy. Its very short (and remaining short), one of the cotyledon leaves got damaged breaking soil (I think it struggled with the seed shell), isn't very symmetrical, and I haven't seen much growth on it in about 48 hours. I dunno... its just been different than my other starts.

I started it from seed about a week ago, germinated in about 48 hours about 5-6 days ago, and broke soil about 2-3 days ago. So, still early, but I'm not sure. It looks alive, but odd. My other starts looked more typical and healthy than this. Not sure if I should give it more time or just start germinating another seed.

Temperature has been 70-83. Humidity between 45 and 65. In a tent with 18/6 light about 60-80% intensity but 30" away. Soil is Ocean Forest. No nutrients. Mostly just misting with a spray bottle and plastic tent to boost humidity levels.

Thoughts? Think it will pull through or scrap it and start over? Thanks!

Let it grow, I've had one that stayed stunted for a month and missed my flip cycle so I just kept her in veg another full 2+ months while the others flowered. An almost 4 month old plant when I flipped her and I had agreat harvest of her. it was an AK47/Blackberry I got 1/2 lb from dried most of my girls get 4-5 oz. It started slow but after the 1st month it seemed to grow normal

Yeah, I'm leaning towards the same. I'm hoping it pulls through because it looks still alive. Just not well. Maybe its too early to tell. Another few days maybe it'll be more clear which direction its heading. I'm hoping its still growing roots and once it gets more of what it needs I start seeing some more growth. Thanks.

Thanks all for the optimism. Happy to report, the plant is alive and well. Short and still got the crooked leaves, but multiple sets of true leaves now so I'm not worried. I suspected the high day time temp may have been the issue.

Could be overwatered. The roots are now at least six inches deep and spreading out so she will find the water down there, no need to water more than once per week, she lets you know when she gets thirsty.
