I've been doing some searching around but really can't find an answer, I'm trying to find an answer for a guy setting up a room, what I know is its well water, about 7ph 150ppm I don't know the breakdown of it all, be he as ferrous iron and iron bacteria in it, Will a UV light deal with the Iron bacteria issue or is there a better way.

Get a reverse osmosis system with a pulsar quantum disinfection cartridge.

US Water Pulsar Quantum Disinfection Filter For Reverse Osmosis Systems

This is a game changer! This works on any Reverse Osmosis System, as it contains Quantum Disinfection Media which kills all bacteria on contact. Quantum Disinfection Media is a chemical-free, power-free, maintenance-free, and extremely cost effective method for disinfecting water. It works as a final disinfection solution for all fluid applications on any scale. The media's disinfection capability is a result of energetic, positively charged sites that are created at the media's surfaces, which have been modified through a Patented technological breakthrough. Any microorganism that comes into direct contact with these surfaces is immediately and completely destroyed. Direct contact causes the entire structure of the microorganisms to collapse.

Here's THE DIRTY LITTLE SECRET about Reverse Osmosis Systems: While RO takes out the largest spectrum of contaminants of any water treatment process, the fact of the matter is that a RO tank is a great breeding ground for heterotrophic bacteria. Heterotrophic bacteria is detected by using Heterotrophic Plate Count (HPC) and while there are no specific numerical guidelines are recommended, it is suggested that they be as low as possible.

Here's the good news: A Quantum Disinfection Carbon Cartridge kills ALL BACTERIA, including E-Coli, coliform, Legionella, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Candida albicans and any other microorganism.

Specifications

What about UV? Some people use ultraviolet lights under their sink to kill bacteria, but they don't actually kill the bacteria. UV neuters it so the microorganism can't reproduce, but some actually can come back to life later. That's scary. Ultraviolet lights also use electricity, heat up the water lines and embrittle fittings and tubing, creating potential floods under your sink in the process. Silecte kills better up to 99.9999% of the bacteria and adds nothing to the water. Read more about how Quantum Disinfectionworks HERE.

Note: This Quantum Disinfection cartridge is specifically for use on water that has been treated by reverse osmosis. It is not intended as a stand-alone filter for any other purpose.
