I'm by far no master, this is only my second time using this recipe, and the third time making edibles at all. I'm sure there are better ways, but this is a super easy, and very effective way to make cannabis oil. Shout out to @Shaded_One for sending me the link.
This is a vegan recipe, using marshmallow fluff over marshmallows (fluff does not have gelatin), and coconut oil over butter.
This recipe takes like 10 minutes of hands on time. That's it.
I plan on making a lot more edible variations, next will be some lollipops. I really can't wait to make some edibles that are infused with THC and psilocybin... I want to call those Brain Melters, but that's for another day.
First, the teaser...
Ingredients:
10g grinded herb
1/2 cup unrefined virgin coconut oil
2 mason jars, at least one lid
1 regular size cereal box
16oz. marshmallow fluff
I had such a good time making the first batch in the Instant Pot I wanted to document it here.
I start with 10g of ground herb. Place that in a Mason Jar and fasten the lid. Then put in the Instant Pot on a trivet or something to elevate the jar, which i'm not sure is necessary as the jar floats anyway. Fill water until it covers half the jar or until it floats a bit off of the rack. I add boiling water to minimize cooking time.
Set the Instant Pot to 40 minutes on high pressure, once done you will manually release the pressure and go to the next step.
Be CAREFUL when releasing the pressure manually!
Then you will take the decarbed herb out, it will be darker. The jar will be super hot obviously, use a towel when opening lid as a small amount of weed steam will come out under pressure.
Put the decarbed herb in a cheese cloth or a reusable bag then place in a separate mason jar that has 1/2 cup of unrefined coconut oil, that virgin shit, lol
Secure the lid to the mason jar with the coconut oil and herb and place back in the Instant Pot for 20 minutes on high pressure. This time you will leave the pressure in the Instant Pot for an additional 40 minutes once the cooking timer goes off. (total 1 hour, 20 cook, 40 rest under pressure). What i do is start to heat up the marshmallow fluff about 5 minutes before the oil is done. Empty an entire 16oz fluff jar in a sauce pan on the stove, low to med-low setting. you don't want to burn the sugars, just warm the stuff up.

Remove the jar
Dump entire contents in your fluff sauce pot, i used a potato squeezer to get every last drop out of the herb. Many other things will work, but the herb will be saturated with oil, don't throw it out without squeezing it out, some way. If you want you can add a little vanilla extract or what-not.
Stir!!!!!
Get a very large mixing bowl and casserole dish prepped ahead of time by spraying with Pam or something.
Pour that shit into your bowl that has whatever cereal you want, Fruit Loops, Rice Krispies, etc...
Mix thoroughly and then pour into casserole dish, because we are using marshmallow fluff instead of marshmallows you should compact the stuff as hard as you can. This will help it all to stay tight and together when done.
I sprinkle some of these on top, it makes it stand out a lot, and is super cheap. Fuck, why not more sugar..... lol
Cover it with some saran wrap and let it sit overnight.
