Hey,

so i have been asking a few questions here and there and figure i should give yall a few pics of my babies. This is kind of a weird setup because summer is coming and while i am carded for a grip of people its to hot to run many lights in the current house. We will be expanding to a new house in the middle of may, so this is the last run and i am just trying to make something pretty.

Basically its 18 Buckets all on a RDWC and it only have 1200w(2x600) turned on right now because i cant freeze water bottles fast enough to run any more, hence the 1 hp chiller that I ordered a week ago and the guy still hasn't shipped..... bummer....

but yea so i am vegging and as soon as the chiller arrive i will be running 3000w(3x1000) until the summer heat picks up to the point of making me switch them back to 600s. Hopefully its a 1 at a time process so i can squeeze as many lumens out of it as possible.

Here are some pics of the girls, i fuxed up and fed them a 1.2 EC solution during their second week of veg because the 5.5 ml A+B just wasn't cutting it, i realize that burned them a bit and you can see the clawing in the fan leaves, so I have backed it down to 1.1EC and am thinking about lowering it even further to 1.0EC because the jack Herers aren't establishing them selves as well.

I would love some opinons on the top leaves and the way the are curling up at the edges. PH has been drifting between 5.8 and 6.0.

anyways here are some pics of the girls and if anyone is interested in seeing pics of the room itself i would be happy to share with ya, i am just a camera noob.

I am not sure about what ec to run, but i am doing Jack Herer right now as well for the first time. It has had semi curled leaves all through the veg. cycle, but has continued growing way faster than the other strains i have. Now that i am two weeks into flower they have gone back to normal. I do use a fairly heavy veg. formula but all the other strains didn't mind a bit. Anyways I'm not sure what cut or seed u have or if this is normal for JH as its my first time. Just thought i'd say it seems like it can take a bit of abuse if your running one res. for different strains and need to keep the mix stronger. Peace

oh ok cool thanx man! :)
the dude shipped mine out just fine, i was having issues cause i provided the wrong address blah blah blah but once i got everything in order he shipped same day, and i think this deal is gone when its off ebay cause its a pre-summer deal so get em while you can. Also they are only 120v and run like 10 amps.... my setup at this house needs the 120v but after one run of MPBs in the new crib i will for sure be switchin over to the 230v cause thats another 1000w i can run.

for sur eits nothing new cause i know you have seen me lurkin the MPB pretty fuxin hard, but i wasn't even thinkin about putting those on these bitches.... So nothing new but i am definatley leaving to Homey D to pick up some pig fencing, lawl.

thanks fer the reminder, i think its going to make a worl of difference

This is good info for me, i think the Kali Kushes were just better established because i lowered the ppms to 500 and the jack heres grew like 2 inches last night.

Not sure if i will have time to snap pics today as i have to go get those tomato cages and shit before lights are back in action

Picture updates..... yay

PPMS are at like 550 ish and the PH is 5.7-5.9 I bought actual PH up so this time i wont be using straight potassium silicate to PH it. its mad farmers PH up which is supposedly House and gardens PH up but for some reason they couldn't sell it in the US so they licensed it to mad farmer. It looks nice, potassium silicate, potassium carbonate and i forget the other one...

anyways there is a little deficiency goin but i don't want to be burning them, so i was hopin for some advice and i got some good snaps of the room too : ) enjoy

KALI KUSH

Here is what i believe to be a nutrient deficiency showing up on the Kali Kushes. They seem to just want to be fed harder than the Jack Herer for some reason, i was expecting the oposite honestly.

So the above pics are more of there leaves with the deficiency comin through and the next too show it even better

JACK HERER
http://i904.invalid.com/albums/ac243/cannacolorado/Basment%20living%20room%20pics/DSCF0342.jpg
so here is one of the ones thats "stunted" comparatively.... still growin its just the kushes are straight killin it comparatively. But the next is a side view of one of the jack herers that doesn't seems to give a fuck either way, I wish they were all like the next one.

Room Setup

http://i904.invalid.com/albums/ac243/cannacolorado/Basment%20living%20room%20pics/DSCF0329.jpg

here is my ballast setup, i had to make extension cords for my reflectors, used 16 3g SOJ wire(Should use SOOJ) and some simple wire crips, fuck paying out the ass for those hydrofarm deals that only go 25'. Mine only go like 8 feet right now but at the next house they will probably run like 30'.

This is my exhaust headin up the chimney and into the world. the flute or flew or whatever you call it wasn't circular so i blocked off the fireplace sealed it and no the air gets blown into there. Its tight but i feel like my max fan is not being utilized, i have an 8" that pushes 765 which is probably more reasonable because the flew or whaterever its called was approx 4"x 14" which is not many in^2.... found a calculator for pi r squared and it turns out the area of an 8 " is like 201 square inches vs the flew being 56 square inches.... i feel like i need to rethink this heavily...... poop

lol the spacing is about 10 inches max hahahah, i am only going to be able to veg them for another week or so, so i figured i would cram them in there. I have to be out of this house by july 31st, but i dont want to be growing in it after june really, so i was planning on cramming plant in there haha.

if i flip april 24th i will be good to pull down by the end of june at the latest cause these are supposed 8-9 weekers.

Those small brown necrotic patches on your leaves, correlate to a deficiency. Make sure your water temps are no colder than 68 degress fahrenheit and test your source water as well, as you might need to go RO. My best guess is some elements within the make up of your source water is interfering with the uptake of your nutrients; as you already said your Ph is stable. Here is a great read that will give you a better understanding of how to have your nutrients better compliment the alkalinity and content of your source water......

I have been using RO : ) but my water temps make it down to 64 sometimes when the ice cubes first go in, (frozen water bottle) that could be it, especially thinking now phosphorus gets locked out down that low.....

You should be good on this. The area of the 8" is 50 not 201. You did pi d squared.

The meds do that to me all the time.

CannaColorado:

You're right, colder temperature's purple plants up and make genetically purple ones black.

The reason the cold temperature does this is because Phosphorus uptake is temperature dependent. The hotter the water/root zone the more Phosphorus available, the opposite is true with cold water.

If the water temperature doesn't go below 50 you should have no problem with Phosphorus being locked out and causing slow growth and purpling of the plants.

But if purple is what you're looking for, it is much more economical to lower the water temperature then it is to lower the ambient atmosphere temperature.

Whoever said they have to run their room at 45 degrees to purple things up must have deep pockets haha or live in a cold ass place all year around lol.
