ViparSpectra KS3000 looks sharp, performs great, and it’s evident that a lot of thought went into the design.
With its 32″x32″ footprint, the KS3000 fills out a 3’x3′ tent beautifully and provides strong, even full-cycle coverage. Each of the 4 light bars is equipped with 204 Samsung LM301H 3000K/5000K diodes and 6 Osram 660nm reds. The Lifud driver that comes with the kit pulled 300 watts from the wall in our testing and is dimmable via a knob on the driver. Like the KS5000, the KS3000 is hinged in the middle, allowing you to fold it up and move it easily, and takes under 10 minutes to assemble.
ViparSpectra suggests a hang height of 12″ at 100% power for flowering a 3’x3′, a height of 24″ at 50% power for seedlings, and 24″ at 75% for veg.
